Played this game quite a lot in the past but I could only remember some parts of it. One of those parts was a boss on an airfield firing lasers from its eyes which I finally found at 6:15 after watching part 1 through 4, some nostalgia there :)

Great game, especially the music, shame I never managed to finish it.

At the Giant Mouser, all you need is Donatello. Just stand under the middle and strike up. He won't hit you and you don't have to jump or move to a side. It's a simple win. Lastly, I hate the spike walls coming together. It's one of my top weak spots of this game.

that part still and does give me so much stress, cause I always end up getting nervous and end up losing one or two of my best turtles, plus the fact that each of my turtles have the scroll sub-item, 40 each, and when i die on that part, it feels like all that hard work wasted my fucking time -_-

I think that in the big mouser boss would be better if you take don.and stay exactly down of his head and just hit up,i think that you make greater damage as well.But this is my opinion,maybe this is the way you like,cool longplay and without save states.I remember when i beat the radical rescue on gb,another hard as hell one!

There are loads of things in this game that used to scare the crap out of me when I was younger. Falling into the lava/fire stuff, the spiked walls closing in, the giant squalking robot tonsil monster, the tehchnodrome, the underwater part, all damn near gave me a heart attack as a kid.

i actually think leonardo is the best... well maybe not best but I use him the most. his weapon has almost as much reach and is quicker. obviously the later in the game u get u need donatello more. michaelangelo isnt really bad but not good either. rafael is just about useless except u use him when u no ur gunna get hit and let him absorb the damage

There's a few rooms in that stage like that. One is chosen at random at the start to have the Technodrome. The rest will be empty.

I rescued splinter and then that was it.

You have to move to the edge and just let the turtle drop. Also, at the final stage, Donatello can stand between the shooting eyes and stab the "globe" in his mouth without jumping.

My friend from church slept over just so he could sneak out and mess with his girlfriend. I stayed in and played this Ninja Turtles game on NES ALL NIGHT until 6 A.M.

I type this because at 3:23 min, this game kicks into overdrive with the INSANE DIFFICULTY I FACED AS A 16 Year old boy with a HIGH TOP FADE and a KID N' PLAY poster on my wall. Memories!

HELL!! The technodrome seems to wanna hide on me!! Every time I choose the one I think it is, it's not there!!! Sometimes, ya gotta creep up to the door and take a guess!! Area 5 is hard as hell!! Giant armadillo roaches, annoying humanoid porcupines, floating-exploding jellyfish and water-bubbling elevator aliens!!! The most hard and annoying is the porcupines!!

TIP: When you see the roaches, duck or jump!!

A better strategy for beating that giant robot: use Don's bow and stand right underneath him. Attack him from below, and from what I remember from about 9 years ago, you won't get hurt.

The giant mouser boss is PATHETIC! Quick secret to killing it is to use Donnie and stand underneath it so all you have to do is aim up and keep attacking. But the method in this video works just fine too.

Hey Laffer35, I followed the same path you did to get to the Technodrome, but the door that you took to find it, that same door took me to an empty room. Do you know what's up with that?

The three underground levels in Level 5 all lead to the Technodrome. It's location is selected randomly at the start of the game. If you go to one and it does not enter, leave and try one of the other two.

Yeah, I just got a FC Twin Console yesterday and thankfully my old TMNT game still works after all this time. And now that I know that there are game genie codes for this game, it should be a little easier to beat now. But I still applaud Laffer35 cuz not only did they show how to beat the game, but they also were a big influence for me wanting to get back to playing NES again.
