  • i have the same guitar in blue with the same pickups that you have on yours.I love everything about it.I play it to a Marshall AVT on the clean channel with thhe gain around 7 and i boost it with a boss overdrive for solos. What height does your pickups have? Neck,Mid and bridge? how are they set on your guitar? this is the question that bothers me the most. Thanks in advance man, nice video indeed!!!

  • for sure i want one

  • that mush whammy bar use and still in tune?

  • @frenchfriedfrenchmen This one had locking machine heads and a roller nut...plus I set it up to work right...

  • Those old stat plus models were some of the best guitars Fender ever made. Extreme versatility withe the Lace Sensors and smooth tremelo with the LSR roller nut. You just cant ask for a more enjoyable players guitar!

  • Nice. What pickups are you using? Is your strat American made?

  • @56goldlespaul Thanks! This was American (or the USA specifically since Mexico is part of America last time I checked). They were a set of Red/Silver/Blue Lace Sensors in the Bridge/Middle/Neck positions respectively.

  • Howard,sitting down??haha.

  • cool jammin. Have you tried to run .10 strings on it??

  • Would you happen to know your burn channel setting in this video?

  • For the longest time I tried doing all my videos with the volume at about 2.5 - 3 and everything else (gain 1, gain 2, bass, mid, and treble) at 10 just to try and have consistency between the videos so you could tell what is the guitar and what is the amp...this one is definately like that and there is never any reverb (or any pedals) and since I didn't note otherwise, everything is all original on the amp...I've since switched out the speaker and run another 2x12 with it (all Hellatone 30's).

  • hey man! i tried a exact guitar like this yesterday, and i loved it!

  • Splendido suono... vero è che in gran parte lo fanno le dita...... complimenti sentiti

  • bro If I get a fender I want one that looks like yours! I love that set up! Sun Burst with a tanned Maple Neck! Sweet Playing to I hope I get to play like that some day.

  • Thanks! That is my favorite color combination as well...

  • I love that look the Fender Strat has, Vintage andan Ageless Classic, especially in this Color! Oh, I went to play alot of guitars yesterday and I fell in love with an Ibanez Exotic Wood Seires Acoustic and a PRS SE Custom 24! totally different! I wanted to test out a Wash burn HB35, but they didn't have it. What do you recommend for a beginner?

  • It took me years to learn that no matter how hard you try, you can't have just one guitar...so get something that will make you happy for one "school of (your) thought"...like a Strat and you will probably wind up with a Gibson style guitar sooner or later (although PRS does take the best of Fender and Gibson and kind of puts it in one guitar). I think Mexican Strats are one of the best deals out there...they can even keep me somewhat happy...and I'm very picky (and somewhat spoiled)

  • I hit the post comment before I was done...

What do you want first? What is your budget? How important are looks? Name? Where it is made? Trem or no trem? Single coil or humbucking pickups (or both)?

New or used (and I highly recommend used and not just because I sell used...I don't buy much of anything new anymore...let someone else suffer the depreciation costs...who cares about a few "personality" marks)?

  • I want Versatility and some thing that I want to treat as if Megan Fox if she was in my room. I want the guitar to look so nice that when I grab it I can't put it down and that I am not bugged by something on it. Sound needs to be able to Universal!

Not Sure on Acoustic or Electric.

    Budget max not over $500.

Humbucking if it is the PRS or a Semi Hollow.

I really don't mine if it's used as long as it's in good condition and it's what I want. Color- Peferabley RED.

  • Dude...I have a Candy Apple Red 60th Anniv. Fender Strat for sale right now...it's near the top of my video list...I used it on the Alvarez/Mbrace video as well...it sounds great as is...it's in near mint condition and it's cheap enough to leave room for a Hot Rails style pickup at the bridge position (it's a higher output mini humbucker to give it even more versatility...). Check it out...the whammy bar even works pretty good for a stock Strat! $399.99 delivered to your door (in the Cont.U.S.).

  • Thanks, but I think I have my heart set on the PRS SE Custom 24, or the Ibanez EWC30 Ash. I just hope I can get it in Black Cherry. I've always wanted on a PRS and the feel and sound of it was amazing! I thought they went for 500 because I saw it at guitar center for 500 and I was so happy, but I think it was on sale. do you know when they have their sales?

  • Thanks bro I keep Thinking I'm going Crazy and people must think I'm crazy, LOL. Anyways, I am also picky so, I went and tested out a lot of guitars the other day. it's funny cause I listen to indie, Alternative, and soft rock. I was looking for a full tuned Semi Hollow at first, but I decided to check each type of guitar. I started with acoustics and fell in love with an Ibanez EW in ash and it had a very high tone, not full deep one like most acoustics. Electric was a PRS SE 24 RED!

  • amen. my wife is always asking me why I am looking at guitars when i already have (more than a couple)... it is about sound. some songs just NEED a strat, when other absolutely HAVE to be played on a Les Paul.. (RIP) and others are exclusively meant to be played on a tele and that is that!!! not to mention hollow-bodies, and acoustics..

  • Beginners & Strats go together like nothing else, it will help you play, a les paul won`t. I have pretty much the same Rig Delux strat and supersonic amp.

If you want the best of both worlds try a PRS Beutifully made Short scale great necks easy to play, But you may need a bank loan ? and use a valve amp, i think you will be impreessed. Good luck..!

  • How about a PRS SE Custom 22 tremolo? I was also thinking of getting an Orange 30watt Amp. How are valve Amps?

  • Valve amps are amps, trannys aren't - That includes Line6.

Its a difficult thing to quantify but from a technical point valves allow for a harmonic structure that seems way more attuned to the stringed instrument. As a player, heh, valve amps are like an organic extension of the guitar.

A good guitar with a good valve amp and you just cannot stop playing - it just feels right.

  • WHAT AMP YOU PLAYING THROUGH

  • Sorry I didn't reply sooner...check the more info section...

  • i hate the whammy in strats cause they detune your guitar faster anyways nice

  • Watch my "Worlds Longest Standard Strat w/EMG & Graphtech parts Demo". That one stays in tune great! I've had lots of them that work but I hear you...my early experiences were if you even looked at the bar it went out of tune. The nut has to be cut just right (and graphite helps) and locking machine heads help...string trees suck but if you must, then use graphite...and the bridge has to be balanced right so it returns to the same place...sometimes an extra touch of the bar will bring it back...

  • nah man with the delux plus strat ( or at least mine, it has the jeff beck roller nut) it doesnt go out of tune when you use the whammy bar.

  • The Strat Plus has locking tuners and a roller nut, hasn't it? So it doesn't go out of tune really fast when you're using the whammy bar?

  • mine barely ever goes out of tune and i use the whammy alot. like literally it stays completely in tune using whammy for a week for me.

  • yer the headstock is designed to keep it in tune . mine stays in tune allways

  • Great burst, man!

  • I have three Strat Plus's & a Strat Plus D'lux.

They all have different 'personalities' but,

they are great guitars! I put my 56' sunburst

(original)back in It's case in favor of my 88'

    fiesta red Plus.Nice lix green!!

  • Nice guitar...and great demo too...~~

  • NICE CRUNCH

do you have 3 gold lace sensors or others ?

  • Thanks! It was Red (very hot) in the bridge, Silver (hot) in the middle, and Blue (warm and fat) in the neck positions. Thanks for watching!

  • my dad has one of these with a clapton midrange mod I love this guitar so much

  • hmm not a lot of these strat pluses on youtube... was very happy when i pickup mine, same color and neck too...

  • and year... nice

  • nice playing nice amp I've just bought a fender super 60 for 250€ great sounding amp too!
