We still haven't got this in the UK and you guys are right,this possibly has something to do with bloody Mario Kart, though Sega Racing gets exposure.

I'm still quite happy to stick with Excite Truck though,that game still kicks ass, just lacks online play.

The game is BASED off of EXCITE TRUCK.

Usually sports games always suck ass and the game fixes that problem!

RACING IS REDEFINED!!!!!

Theres lots of stuff to do while your racing like:

SOCCER, FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, BOWLING, LEG RUNNING, GLIDER FLYING, SONG RAIL, THROW A PIE AT A CLOWNS FACE, THROW DARTS, ASSEMBLE A SANDWICH, & RESCUE BUTTERFLIES AND TAKE THEM TO FLOWERS.

there is an easy way to fix that, cus im a geek i know how. You have to find out what port your wii is on and open that port. Basically a port is a highway for the information that the wii is sending and recieving, and sometimes the firewall on you pc or router will block certain things, like peer to peer, online games etc.

So by opening the port all communications to and from the wii will be aloud. This may seem over you head but there are guides on the internet on how.

I dont think I would call it a purely kids game really. It is certainly kid friendly with the robot theme but my friends and I have a blast with this and we are all in our 20s.  Its sort of like a weird combo of FZero and Mario Kart. Easy to pick up but hard to master.

Tell me about it the Sd card for playing your own tunes is what made Excite Truck perfect. I dig Excite Truck more than this, why couldn't they have released Excite Truck 2 with online features, god damn that game is amazing. I want to race vehicles not robots. Some criticisms of your critique:

a. The running form of the bot is not intended to be easy to control. That's the point. There is a learning curve involved with how to use it properly.

b. The ice in the snow levels aren't supposed to be driven on. You handle badly on the ice because that's the game's deterrent for driving on slick surfaces. You can go through all of the snow level without driving on the ice, I guarantee it.

c. Your summation of the controls wasn't entirely accurate.

If you're familiar with Excite Truck and like the formula, absolutely. If you haven't tried that game, I'd recommend renting this before deciding whether to drop your cash or not. It's a very, very different game than a run-of-the-mill racer.

For my money, though, it's the most fun I've had from a videogame this year, and probably tops Mario Kart Wii as my favorite Wii racing title.

O.K. thanks for clearing that up. And your right, Kwing is the only one who did a good review of this. GT tried but criticized the game too much on looking awful. To be honest, I think it looks better than Halo 3. That being said I hate Halo 3. I hate all FPS'. I hate this generation for the most part. Which may be why I own a Wii. Now I'm wasting your time.
