The type of Sikhi they preached is fluid according to time place given the fact that Punjabis were athiest/ hindus/ muslim and tribes bearing influences from different regions! The nirmallas preached to muslims using their matt, and using Hindu matt n bought them slowly to a form of sikhi.

@MrBabbar1984 historically the Sikhs are made up of Khalsas, Akali Nihungs, Sehaj Dharis, Sevapanthis, Nirmallas! In dark times they co ordinated to keep Sikhi alive though distinct from each other.
The type of Sikhi they preached is fluid according to time place given the fact that Punjabis were athiest/ hindus/ muslim and tribes bearing influences from different regions! The nirmallas preached to muslims using their matt, and using Hindu matt n bought them slowly to a form of sikhi.

@MrBabbar1984 The Khalistan matta was passed at AKhal Takhat with a num of 500 000 Sikhs headed by Damdami Taksaal! However it did not involve every Sikh Jathebandi hence it was not a Collective Decision which resulted in the way things stand at present!
Sant Bhindrawale just like Sant Thakur Singh spoke in village lingo/ and Mysticism known to Saints! Sant Thakur Singh also stated Bhindrawale was alive! We all know he died! What Sant Thakur singh meant was Alive and well in spirit!

Khalistan had an influential backing in the 1980s but it wud b wrong to say that all sikhs did when clearly a large portion of SIkhs lived in other parts of India to this day with exactly the same Jatt Satt Traditions in Haryana and Rajhastan!
U need to stomache the Reality than play the blame game of what SIkhs want.

Khalistan has tried its testing ground with the Panthic Committee in late 1980s and 1990s and failed as a result from trying to over ride Punjabi Cultural Traditions with a Strict form of Religion dictated by DDT and Akj that the masses may have found comfort in to start with as a reaction but later turned against

Khalistan is a testing ground for Politics and Religion! babbar khalsa had a great reputation, it was formerly called babbar sher akali's when it was first created during the time of Britian's rule, it was formed to fight against Britian, then the India Govt. but when its last leaders like Talwinder S Parmar failed on a mission killing 329 innocent people on Air India, the Reputation was destroyed.
