Great vid. But if I could give just a tip, I would suggest that he does some exercises on the drum kit so he doesn't associate his right hand so much with his right foot, and also tries to disassociate his right hand with is left on the snare, and his consistency and timing will improve in the short rythyms. Other than that, great to see someone so young putting effort into something like this instead of playing Guitar Hero. Thanks for the vid!

GOOD JOB, bud! You're already starting young with the hair and you're definitely going in the right direction with your choice of drumming. Vinnie has a very eclectic drum style to learn for a beginner - it's good to see you take that challenge and play. My ONLY recommendation is to lose one of those rack toms and bring the cymbals closer until your arms get a little longer. HOwever, I assume you're playing on a parent or older sibling's set, which is fine too. GOOD LUCK BRO!
