Peter Garrett has made a wise choice to leave the music and become a full time politican. I think he can achieve more from a senate seat than a podium. Don't get me wrong, he has proven to have his heart on the right spot, in contradiction to many other politicians.

I really appreciated Midnight Oil for bringing attention to certain issues I honestly didn't know existed. Being from the States, We don't hear a whole lot about Australian affairs outside of the summer games at Sydney or the death of Steve Irwin. Thanks to bands like the Oil and Silverchair, I understand the whole ordeal with Aborigines and the official apology to them, as well as other things. Sometimes it takes a unique group to open your eyes to the world beyond your front door.

The IPCC is becoming more and more political. Scientists who disagree are often rejected and some datas are being discarded..
