Nice vid, those who think its fake go to a petstore and look at the auto water bowls you fill the large jug with water and put it into the bowl and flip it. The water in the jug will stop flowing out once the water is about equal to the lip of the jug. This tank is the same concept sorry but it is not magic, just science.
@66myth2 the tanks are connected!! the salt will mix in both the water in the upper and lower part of th tank! and do you think those goldfish like saltwater?
@Kamikazepansen ... the denser water will stay on the bottom. It will only mix if the fish swims in it idiot. Are you not aware of the proprites of density? Plus, cold water is denser, and will therfore stay on the bottom. Heat rises, and warm water is less dense.
OK I'd like to build one. Got your message from youtube. Register this and have a patient license so you can make money and no one can use it without permission from you.

There is more than one tank, this is not one single tank. Obviously the pressure difference in some stupid large math/science equation can explain that. If this were one tank and it was open to room air, the water would try to balance out with decreased pressure allowing the water to flow out through the open bottom.
actually this is possible...a simple way to do this is take a large bucket or bowl of water then take a smaller cup and submerged the cup so that it fills completely with water. Next flip the cup upside down (doing all of this while under the surface of the water) then pull up so that part of the cup (not the entire cup) breaks the surface of the water. The water should stay in the cup while having an opening on the bottom for fish, plants, etc. to go into. =)
If the top is sealed, which it looks to be from the video, then the pressure of the air is only being distributed along the lower part of the tank that is open to the air. The air pushing down on that keeps the water in the upper part up. Very similar to a pet water bowl that you attach a 2 liter bottle to, the bottle doesn't drain all over your floor for the exact same reason.
@fluidthougt no, not really! if you reduce the pressure in the higher tank and kind of "suck the air out of it" the water will rise in it to equal the pressure... It only has to be sealed after "sucking air out of it"... @s2kbaris It wonder how you manage to change water in it!?
@fluidthougt if you think this is fake for some reason then try this: get a large container full of water (or a sink) get a tall glass or cup, fill it up under water and while it is still under water turn it upside down so that the opening is facing down and lift the cup mostly out of the water but leave the opening under water. there you go and perhaps you should do a small amount of research before you criticize people on things you think you know
@fluidthougt no just that the pressure of the water below is greater than the pressure of the water above that is why water does not leak out, so no this guy is not fake at all :)
(P.S. though I am curious on how the heck did this guy make this... very nice design though :D)
@fluidthougt LOL you do know how a overflow works? same concept. except tada, no overflow. -.- the pressure keeps the water stable , and remember its air pressure. so the water just like a cup pushed under water will retain air.
@fluidthougt You are a moron of the highest degree, do some damn research before claiming something to be fake, despite you clearly do not know what you're talking about.
@free2rock85 If the electricity goes out, then the air stops pumping and everything just sits there forever until the electricity comes back. The only problem would be if air is pumped into the vertical portion of the tank and is never removed; that would cause the water to be displaced.
Fill your sink with water, then submerse a cup in it making sure all air is out. Now turn the cup upside down (rim downward) and raise it slowly up. The water will stay in forever, until any air leaks in.
Usually seashells throw aquariums off but yours look pretty good!

Maybe the bottom tank has some aquarium salt in it, salt water is denser that fresh.

what if the electricity when out? you'll have a flood in your house right?
free2rock85 4 months ago
@free2rock85 why? I do not use a pump for the level! I only have one filter for water movement!
s2kbaris 4 months ago
@s2kbaris so how can the water get up that high? I saw another video where this guy use a pump to pull pressure out.
free2rock85 4 months ago
@free2rock85 you must suck the air with a tube while adding water
s2kbaris 4 months ago
