  • soooo stoned.

  • sweet :)

  • this song made me quit the bass when i started 6 years ago. i have a new found love for the bass and now i'm going to try and learn it again. i've been playing for 15 weeks and i have learned 27 songs. hopefully this will be 28

  • Thanks for posting- did a great job.

  • You're so high.

  • Thanks for putting up the standard notation. Hard to read though, but that could be my little tiny screen.

  • i have the same amplifier:P

  • no it isnt

  • is it realy illegal to put it out on tab??

  • Thanks, this was a bug help even though I'm playing it on piano. The Sheet music really made it.

  • KARA!!!! ITS ME SEAN!!!! lol

  • awesome video work, but this tab is wrong.. i will post a video response soon .. respectfully

  • Now I can finally play my happy song. Thank you!

  • Haha sorry im very new to bass- but on the intro part the tab says its all on the bottom string but it looks like your using that and the one above it. Are my eyes decieving me?

  • He's moving the open string to the fifth fret, which is the same note, just a different string.

If you go up one string (directionally, not sound wise) and to the right 5 frets, you get the same note.

  • quit givin him all the shitz. It would be alot easier for anyone if they had a drumloop or would listen to the song. jeez

  • the question begs to be asked why don't you just keep your finger on the strings on 4th and 5th frets on the G string, you don't need the fingers to fret elsewhere, and hence this leads on to the question, are you really that good a bassist?

  • Actually an open string has a different voicing than a fretted string, and it's considered good practice to play all notes fretted unless it would be really hard to do or if it's like a low E or something.

  • no! thats not what i implied... i mean un-fretting your 1st finger on 4th when fretting the 5th, only to fret back down on the 4th fret again after playing the 5th with your 2nd finger!

i didn't mention open strings! but, seeing as you've gotten a little angry and have given me a thumbs down, i will take the time to point out that your reply uses a small piece of information (the 0-2-3 being the same as the 3-2-3 spread on 2 strings) which other people have pointed out as being the same.

  • so please don't pick arguments for the sake of it!

  • and now i've replied three times it does make me seem a little sad, but i try hard only to add constructive comments to any video i watch! thanks.

  • Shut up.

  • yes i marked my own comment as spam. the hopefully people like you posting pointless comments like you will stop.

At least mine had a point.

  • yes.

  • the f'd up part is that someone needed instructions on this song.

  • Is that K-FED?

  • its clearly janet jackson..see the headset...?

  • Awesome stuff!

  • he's playin the yamaha bb-404.....real nice bass.....i own a bb-405L...real nice tones.

  • what kind of bass are you playin'? just wonderin' cause it sounds awesome

  • LOL...it's not the Bass...it's the BASSIST :)

Take any old bass and have a good player play it, it'll sound good! Take a 5K bass and have a shitty player play it...it''l sound like shiz...

  • that is very true

  • awesome man thank, its nice to see someone put something constructive online.

  • good job but your tabs at the bottom don't mack what you play through a bunch of it

  • look at the first comment of all the comments...

  • I have been looking for some instruction on blister to use for my son who is learning the cello, thanks for the help.

  • My pleasure... i wanted to remove that video after a bit of time because it was a requested and didn't really want to keep it hanging around... I might just keep it hehe!

  • Also, I noticed Youtube's FLV compression really made the tab scroll unclear... it's best viewable full screen, Thanks!

  • Notice on Part 1 : Introduction - I'm not playing the unfretted note, i'm playing the fretted 5th on the 2dn string. I hope that video helps you out...Rate and comment!
