  • whats the name of the song?

  • @xXSnip3SwiFtXx bass i love you

  • TUrbo masif bass :D

  • It's meant for midrange, unless u planning to replace a computer subwoofer which sounds like crap. Make a line array with those, they might sound good

  • @yongly07 i got 3 of the dayton nd105 last week and whats a line array

  • @hothedGam3rz

line array is like a set of speakers however many you want in a line arrangement

imagine this image as two floor standing speakers, your nd105 next to a tweeter

    Oo oO

    Oo oO

    Oo oO

    Oo oO

  • @yongly07 ok i get ya

  • R U using a strobe light to tap in to the frequecies of the the woofer to see how much Xmax it puts out?

  • omg ts not really a mini sub

  • @BassPounderX I know, i was just showing some of it's impressive excursion capabilities.

  • @BassPounderX Neither are your technics, but you're going around saying they can beat my klipsch. I don't think so, and even if you're so stuck on the thought they can, put them next to my RE, or the Polk Audio 10" sub I'm getting! This woofer has a low enough impeadence to make it a "mini subwoofer." Its 4 ohms I beleive. 4 ohms is definatly the right ohmage to hit low frequencies. Play high frequencies into this, they'll sound muffled because its 4 OHMS. So its made to play low frequencies-_-'

  • @masterwolf1212 Impedence has nothing to do with hitting low frequencies....they make 2,4,6 and even 8 Ohm Subwoofers and this Driver might have a larger than normal excursion for a small Extended Range Driver....but it is still an Extended Range Driver and it Responds up to around 15,000....

  • @form109 Dude I know that there are varieties of resistance in subwoofers, but that is mainly to match the amplifier, as does wattage. They don't play a MAJOR role, but they do effect the bandwith of the subwoofer. Now its not the RESISTANCE term which describes the bandwith of subwoofer, rather the length of the coil wire. Ever hear about the miller effect? Describes on the amplifier side the impact of frequency response based on resistance. Also, ever hear of a 2 ohm tweeter? I don't think so.

  • @masterwolf1212 im sure there are 2 Ohm Tweeters out there.....given that some factory car stereo's use 2 Ohm everything else so i wouldnt rule our a 2 Ohm Tweeter.

  • @form109 Well yeah for amplifier matching perpuses. But usually when you see tweeters they are much higher

  • @BassPounderX pretty damn close to it

  • @1500Tb lol u saw this video too LOL i know its close but its still not its a mid bass but i wish they had like a 100 watt 10 inch or maby even a 6.5 LOLz

  • @BassPounderX lol its a really small subwoofer as i can see i can compare it to x-240 :-X look at the screws

  • @DubSalat you really are a idiot screws ahve nothign to do with it being a subwoofer my tweeters ahve 4 screws that dose not make them subwoofers

  • @BassPounderX wait wait im not to talk like dumb, lets talk in peace quietly,nicely...im talking about that HOW theyre big..look how is big subwoofer and copare them to the subwoofer... more screws bigger subwoofer..at least if its really big it has cover around and at least 10 screws,a small screws and this have no cover, only 4 screws...thats all

  • @DubSalat screws have nothing to do with anything

  • @BassPounderX Man look at this...lol this is really small subwoofer

    /watch?v=b6d9dHwj6rQ&feature=related

  • @DubSalat they are midbass my car door speakers are midbass the they have some bass butt hat dose not make them a subwoofer now fuck off u idiot learn what your talkign aout before u comment

  • @BassPounderX Yeah..."talkign" as you say? You should learn you fucking spell mate Because IT SUCKS! you have probably extremely OLD midbass....oh btw its MIDBASS sucker not SUBWOOFER

  • @DubSalat first it goes from subwoofers and shit to my typing wow you are so mature

  • @BassPounderX I do not want to argue..just cool down please :/

  • Comment removed

  • i used a pair of these for some mid ranges i made for my grandad, he listens to country style and classical, they are perfect for that. i play rock on it when i go round but they get eaily distorted when you play dance like lady gaga ;)

  • can you feel the bass from this lil fella?

  • Not Excactly a Sub....Those are Great Full Rangers...and Despite their Longer than Usual X-max they will still Run out of Steam fairly quickly at low Frequincies with not alot of Power....so Definetly get a Bigger Sub and X-Over these at about 100 Hz :-)

  • very crap!!

  • whatr did you stuff it with and where dis you get the stuffing and also how much. the exact URl [lease. ThanX

  • brilliant, i love little subs - found your video from a parts express review!

  • just got one of these in the 4 inch version. they are simply amazing.

  • this is cool man lol ill need these subs wen i get bored lol i blow dem 1 by 1 wen i get bored

    lmao im not syco

  • im doing a little project nd90s and a nd105 crossed over with a dayton tweeter do you think there will be enough bass :)

  • Great vid. I've used the Aura NS3 (the driver these were made to be drop in replacements for) and they are incredible. Gotta love Dayton for making them as the originals are scarce to be found. Also, I think the T-Amp is a good choice as the bass tapers off a little in the lower frequencies and very slightly helps the driver.

  • @prplejester i completely agree. they are a good match. they are tv duty now, and are impressive just for general tv viewing.

  • damn, looks like a mini tc sound sub!!!

  • @bob505470 Haha! it does look very subwoofer-ish with the huge rubber surround. and 20mm of xmech!

  • @bob505470 so true!

  • way too underpowered

  • @david96888 not necessarily.... at 10 watts i'm able to get distortion, because it runs out of xmax in the low frequencies, in which it wasn't designed to handle 20 watts that low. at 20 watts i might be able to run out of xmech, and bottom out. it's not a loud speaker, it's just made to get low at a moderate volume.

  • @Kstorm88 it has a High Excursion Capability, but its meant to be run Full Range id say High Pass it around 120 no lower than 80 Hz.

  • @form109 exactly. it is being run full range. and i realize it's not a sub.

  • This video made my purchase decision, the things are amazing. put mine in a .5 cu ft box made with 3/4 particle board ported to 50hz and they do preform that low. amazing, just amazing

  • I'm glad I could influence your decision. I listen to mine everyday, and i'm still amazed at their low range capability.

  • could this be used in a horn ot QWTL?

  • what kind of speaker is that and where do you get one? howmuch?

  • @IgotSIX12s Dayton nd90 from Parts express. it's $20 per driver i think

  • Hey I have a few questions.

What amp are you using and how much does it cost?

I am looking to purchase these and try them out in a transmission line box.

I have big amps but would like to make these somwhat portable.

    Thanks in advance

  • @gaymeledeush

the amp is a t-amp from partsexpress it's about $45

  • 0:51till the end i think is the sexiest part! also, late night tip starts at 1:10

  • yeah this speaker has awesome bass. i think it sounds better ported cuz the excursion!!=)

  • i have the same speaker!!! but mini is a 3 1/2 idk what yours is??

  • mine's a 3.5 my new box is a ported 550 cu in tuned to 45hz built from 3/4 mdf with bracing. kinda overkill, but the sound is unbelievable. in a small bedroom, it's hard to believe there is no subwoofer.
