  • I think seven people died before they could get "On with the show!!!!"

  • saludos desde mexico motley crue desde 1980 la mejor banda y la mas influyente para muchos

  • @chriib go to hell

  • great fucking song

  • I love this song, reminds me of when I was 17, skipping school. going to the beach. (Ft. Lauderdale, FL beach) spring break 1985......

  • oh and ozzy being the godfather!!!

  • i hate to tell all you haters this, but motley crue, poison, skidrow and the rest from the 80s made this music acceptable! they are they grandfathers of this genre so suck it!!!

  • If You Don't Like This, You Can Follow Nikki Sixx's Words... SUCK IT !

  • I didn't read the hate...that's between you "people". Differences aside, this is one of the Crue's best, don't ruin it for the rest...or I might ki...WHAT? WHO THE FU...

  • I wont change my mind i will always love MC, but you others can argue whatever u wanna im gonna stick with mine!

  • @PeteJHickey I didn't mean homosexuals. Just Fags. And since when did quality heavy metal = Getting much pussy?

  • @Chriib ooohh, i will love the answears to this one

  • @14ax2 Motley Crue is a party band, if your out smoking and drinking progressive rock isn't exactly going 2 get the ladies going,..I've never seen 2 many hot chicks get down listening 2 the Cure!

  • @14ax2 u r gay and u suck cock and probably like tears for fears u homo too fast is the best album ever made but you like overproduced pussy shit and thats fine cuz u r a dbag

  • @imakemyownkarma haha what? think you wrote to the wrong preson here

  • @Chriib FUCK YOU Go Phish Somewhere Else CUNT

  • @bjpaint1 Mötley Crüe isn't a good band. It's cheesy and geeky. This type of bands uses the term heavy metal as an excuse to party. This band isn't as much for the music as it is for the band members and their stories of how much dope they've been taking. It's pure image, nothing more. I believe that Heavy Metal should be about music, Mötley Crüe is just a bunch of fags. Mötley Crüe is superficial crap. Just accept it.

  • @Chriib Uhh do you not know what their songs are about, dumbass? This is about Frankie (aka Nikki Sixx) when he went and o'ded, You're all i need is based on a REAL event, and everything else is heartfelt... Nikki is an AMAZING writer and if you dont like motley, then dont look em up. Easy as that.

  • @Chriib I am a 100% thrasher and I do love Motley Crue as loads of other metal fans do. What's the point of your rant? That's nonsense, lyrical themes such as those of Blind Guardian or Helloween (just to mention a couple of bands I appreciate as well) are far more geeky and cheesy. And talking about being serious, that's exactly what I don't fucking want from metal. Just go and listen to some goddamn Municipal Wste or Anthrax good songs and have a right laugh.

  • @Mototrebbia666 You can't be 100% thrasher and like mötley crüe. That would just be incredible stupid. That would be like jew who adores Hitler. A negro who likes apartheid. A homosexual who likes the bible. A redneck who likes Obama. IT DOESN'T FUCKING WORK THAT WAY!!!!!!!

  • @Chriib Mate, your comment is so funny i don't want to spoil it!

  • @Chriib Then you sir, are an idiot. And I listen to everything from Helloween, to Emperor, to Iron Maiden, to Dismember, to Savatage, to Van Halen. Have fun listening to A7X, Limp Bizkit, Korn, and other false metal. Motley Crue forever.

  • @testarossa5150 So just because one believes that Mötley Crüe is a lousy band one automatically like Korn and Limp Bizkit. You fuckin' idiot. You don't know anything about real metal music. DOUCHEFAG. Mötley Crüe is a bunch of fags who doesn't have a clue about real metal. Gotham City, Judas priest, Stormwitch, Tyrant(UK) Forever. That's what I say. Stop bugging me. STOP METAL WITH ME.

  • @Chriib Just because I listen to a little Crue does not mean I don't know anything about other styles or bands.

  • @Chriib people like you should drop dead

  • Comment removed

  • @Chriib ur mother sucks cocks in hell

  • @Chriib Well first dumbass this isn't Heavy Metal. Motley Crue pretty much started GLAM Metal not Heavy Metal.

  • @BOpsMaster Well correct me if im wrong but heavy metal is more like a genre of the music and glam was "invented" because rock artist's wear make-up? Haven't heard anyone say "Ooh how tasty and glamourful riff"

  • @Phaellos well i think its kinda both, because its always glam bands referring to the make up but cinderella hardly wore make-up but they were called a glam band, i dont know i think its both

  • @BOpsMaster Cinderella rocks btw! Yeah well so many great acts of 80's didnt wear make up and was called glam like GNR and Skid Row, but to me the word glam refers to something that was rock music, in the decade 1980-early1990 and sung about sex drugs etc... rockbands like metallica didnt really sung about sex so they werent called glam. In my opinion of course!

  • @Phaellos I agree with you completely they should be called big haired bands not glam, and soo happy you a cinderella fan!!

  • @Chriib You prolly love Judas Priest you homo, cuase crue's all about the pussy

  • @Chriib I like gay porn.

  • I'm 16 years old. I listen to Motley Crue. Now can I have top comment? -_-

  • @JediArroN No....

  • @911turb0 That was part of the joke.. xD

It looks like you didn't catch on ^_^

  • @JediArroN No....

  • @JediArroN Glad to see someone has good taste on this thread. keep on listening to early metal/80's rock and you will see the influences it has had on modern music. I was alive and walking the strip in the 80's in all my rocker regailia when Crue came around, they never said they had talent (except Mick). they played hard rock in a town that was expoding with rock for kids your age. The music was a way to share feelings and get girls..they did both and I appreciate the memories. So keep Rocking!

  • @MoabLocal191 Hehe thanks. Did you go and see them in the small towns/clubs they were playing at? How old are you? xD I wish I was around so I could actually experience the atmosphere and the fact that everyone listen to this kind of music, kind of like today, how the vast majority of kids listen to pop, etc. Lol get girls via music :) I'm sure they must have been popular, girls love anyone that is famous xD

  • @JediArroN Lets just say I was in my teens in the 80's...Yes saw Crue, ratt,Van Halen and many others at bars/clubs in holly wood...The streets of Sunset strip and Hollywood Blvd were a giant party back then. All you needed was to be there,It would take all night to walk them both in a giant circle but back then clubs like the Roxy had free food for us in the basement..lol seriously..I dont know where it came from but they had a giant buffet style we would find at like 4am.

  • @MoabLocal191 Oh and my original comment was just me trying to mock the person below me, who says they're a young age and listen to good music so that they can get a top comment.. Lol.

  • @JediArroN I wore my levi jacket with Eddie drawn on the back & grew up with Maiden but had to open up to this new style, not 4 the quality as much as the attitude. Those L.A. bands were like the Detroit bands of the 60's.kinda saying we dont have the money for a stage show so were gonna give 110%.These bands were born at the death of disco when every1 was searching for a genre. So i hope no1 hates on them 4 not staying true to some definition of prior rock. They rocked, disco sucked!

  • im 16 years old and i worship motley crue. screw this new shit.

  • The internet is amazing!!!! At the whim of a thought, you can see videos of songs that you know the words for!!! Freakin amazing

  • first "album" i owned . Still rocks today

  • It's such a generic chord pattern that no one can say anyone ripped it off from anyone. Apart from that, the green day patern isnt exactly the same as the motley crue one. Check out the axis of awesome four chord video, that'll show you that chord patterns are used hundreds of times by hundreds of different artists to create different songs. Key word, DIFFERENT songs.

  • Stop saying Green Day ripped it off come on.. my little brother was singing this tune before he heard neither green day nor motley crue!

  • Green Day copied this riff in their song Jesus of Suberbia

  • 6 people are dumb fucking asswipe pussy mother fuckers

  • great song, a ballad but still rocking

  • one of the few hair bands i like...they partied like maniacs and now nikki is a friend of bill w...pretty bad ass

  • @Greenday4everrrrr Anyone with Greenday included in their user name should be the LAST one to comment about anything musical, seeing that Greenday is about as far from good music as one can get!!!

  • @ProsperwithGlen

FUCK YOU, green day owns.. that doesnt mean they're better than motley btw

  • @TheAudioLegend Green Day blows

  • @mph122170 gonna have to disagree with you on that one

  • @TheAudioLegend That's cool Legend.

  • @TheAudioLegend thank you!! :)

  • One of my favs off this album, even though the whole album is great

  • 0:22

  • 0:14

  • Vasco Rossi copied this song in ALBACHIARA

  • if you think crue was just a hair band what you think they are now 35 yrs later shhhh don't comment you look and sound like my ass farting

  • happy anna fuckin versart tommy, mick, nikki, and vince, 30 years of rockin the fuck out of the world

  • 30 years and still kicking ass!!!!!!

  • Who's Suzy ?

  • I love Motley Crue most amazing band to ever walk the earth

  • I luv Motley Crue most amazing band to ever walk the earth

  • Crüe sucks their just a hair band

  • @rozz02 they have far better hair than you'll ever have

  • Crue is freaking awesome.. this album is awesome. my dad grew up in the 80s and he passed on his love of music to me. he always talks about how there will never be an era likethat.and how music could be and meaningfull at the same time. i used to lay in bed at night with this album playing thinking "i can make music like this, people will see what real music is again." im 17 now... i still play this album at night and think that very thought...one day you guys will see.

  • @soliver9988 same dude i like the rythms from modern music but lyrics are stupid man but i also think if i under stand how good songs are written i could probably make it but nothing compares to this best time for music to be reborn is now so ill try to start this tyrend of music again

  • rock on crue! rock on!

  • All motley crue songs are soo underated. But this is music that will never die. Maybe when 200 years has gone they put this in a spaceship to another galaxy to show how talented humans are. I would also say that rap and techno sucks hard!

  • Maybe it's just me but Vince's voice (from either this song or most songs on this album) sounds alot like the singer that Slash got to appear on his song "Sahara" (Koshi Inaba). Both songs and singers are great, but I always think its Vince singing when I listen to Sahara.

  • Hair Metal haha hell yeah...i'm gonna bring back all the intensity of this year of glory with my band =) i'm tired of these emocore, metalcore, death n black metal stuff...I wanna rock \m/...I wish i was 20 in the 80's...unfortunatly i'm 20 nowadays -_-''

  • @sacreou This time was the best!! Would not trade it for nothing. So glad to see and hear that you love this music at such a young age. : )

  • @sacreou I'm planing on doing the same dude! Maybe we'll cross paths one day, who knows... anyways true about the (emo+metal+death+black)core, sucks balls.

  • @MrCkufu haha would be fun ;)...it's hard here in france to find people interrested in making a glam/sleaze metal band =/ jerks, they don't understand that this is the future of metal...

  • @sacreou eh bien, je pensais être le seul en france å penser ça... c'est sur, personne ne comprend le glam, ou meme le metal ><

    ,

  • my favorate crue song, my son is a heroin addict and i get scared for him and this song just makes me think.

  • Classic... Spawned a lot of posers

  • all legendary-the real deal!

  • Bad Muther Fuckers of Rock!!!!!!

  • 1:32

  • Great band and an underated song

  • The greatest time of all existence was the 80's. Saw Crue for the first time at the Iowa Jam in like 1984. I was 14. There were so many joints going around that as soon as you took a hit and passed one, somebody was handing you another. The Music: There will never be anything like it again. I do like today's rock, such as Seether, Disturbed, Korn, Godsmack, Papa Roach, Slipknot, etc, but with Crue, Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy, Scorpions, Dio, GnR, King Diamond, and others, it was

    all about Rock!!

  • this is definitely a take on ozzy goodbte to romance.

  • Great song..thats all i have to say

  • @CraigMabbitSlut69 yes they did, dating hollywood chicks.

  • I wish more teenagers wanted to make music like Motley, I think I'm alone here. I know a bunch of Motley Crue fans, but no one wants their band to sound or look like them but me :/

  • @IronJudasCrue41 you aint alone.im writing songs like nikki, well,im trying to,but i dont have a band yet.im hoping to be a bassist and a singer in a band i started called MOARE! and i need my people.

  • @IronJudasCrue41 give it time. true rock will rise again

  • @CraigMabbitSlut69 lol, my name is Craig also. no Craig they were raw back then, hollywood got ahold of them

  • whooaa! i liked this song so fucking much even before i knew it was a cover! i'll have to start giving the Crue some more attention and credit! mmmmm Tommy Lee.....drool

  • this song is written for a friend of Vince and Tommy's from high school who died while they were in school up at Glendora Mt Road....they went to high school and were in the same class as my brother...

  • MOTLEY CRUE ROCKS....I Wish I Lived In This Generation...My Pops Did And Introduced Me To Them When I Was A Kid....I've Seen Them Twice Already...Crue Fest 1 & 2...Now Im About To See Them Again At OzzFest 2010.....HELL YEAH

  • Me and my best bud wore this cassette out. What memories this brings back.

  • Great album. Crazy that they weren't even old enough to drink when they recorded this..

  • @mind138rot dosent mean they didnt lol

  • @mind138rot how old were they when they recorded it?

  • Of course this is awesome.... but the Carnival of sins version is much much much better!!

  • Read the 'Heroin Diaries' by Nikki Sixx. Awesome.

  • This song live on the carneval of sins dvd is the most awsome thing ever!

  • @XxDipShit Vince niels voice have such power in the chorus =D

  • Man, I gotta say I was a kid when I discovered the Crue...... I have an older brother that taught me all things music. I'm 36 now, probably 10 when he inroduced me to this music! I'm glad he did, today's music is unlistenable for the most part!

  • there is no band like möley crüe

  • you're so damn right :D

  • I discovered Mötley Crüe about a month ago, and now they're one of my favourite bands. Doesn't take much to fall in love with these guys.

  • They're a great band. I have seen them 7 times starting in 1989.. at the top of their game. They still are amazing in concert. Their energy even now is so fresh, unlike so many other bands in their 40s and 50s.

  • dude , motley rules ! go back to the young days , they are so raw ! merry go round , on with the show and public enemy are to die for

  • @TheShooterhank Agree with everything u said. I go nuts when they play these songs today.. big Crue fan from the begining!

  • this is one of the best Motley Crue's song, pretty good!

  • i love the crue like you don't even know. this song is sooooooooo amazing. these guys were so bad ass back in they day and i just absolutley loved it :)

  • fuk green day...this is old school...old is cool yo..keep haten n so be it...song is meant for somebody you may not know....

  • Ya I noticed as well

  • Anyone notice the melody from the verses of this song is the SAME as the melody from the verses of Green Day's "City of the Damned" (Jesus of Surburbia) on their Amercian Idiot album? Love both groups, but just wonder if Billy Joe consciously ripped the melody...

  • @canegrad71

yes I think Billy Joe ripped the melody consciously :S

If you search on youtube green day rip off you'll find many songs that they´ve copied :D

  • Comment removed

  • I think socialgarbage2 was saying that Green Day ripped off Motley Crue AND Bon Jovi in the same song, and that s/he has been pissed at Green Day ever since.

    Am I right?

  • Great song, but I think this song should be transformed into a power ballad. But the song is still great no matter what.

  • Crue 25% punk, 75% rock at this time period....Great Song....they are really 100% rock as a total band....The Crue rocks yesterday and today!! I love the picture of the Crue on this post....

  • great song !!!! still have that cd... :D

  • good on so many levels...not perfect, but neither is life, captured a slice of time before nerds invaded music- i do like the leathur records mix better tho

  • they were bad ass back then weren't they?

  • ohh yeah, go read The Dirt, you won't regret it!

  • oooh i did wen it 1st came out. i was saying wut i was saying like lookin back @ their past u know. like lookin back @ being a kid or teenager. ooh i know a lot abut them, trust me. some i forgot though.

  • @14ax2 THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! I was listening to Home Sweet Home and I saw you made another song video so I clicked on it and it took me to this so you introduced this song to me... this song is so under rated.

  • @14ax2 the dirt is amazing

  • @14ax2 lmao my drummer says that all the time

  • @14ax2 ooh i have it. it was interesting wen it 1st came maybe cause i was younger, but now. i find it ridiculous

  • the most underrated song ever made

  • i would say that 2

  • @driftmaster81 i like take me to the top and piece of ur action more but this song puts me in a good mood everytime i hear it :)

  • @driftmaster81 only thing that would make this song better, is if it were a little faster

  • AS a reply to the person who posted this video's question, no the picture isn't from the apartment that they lived in in the begging of The Dirt, this is from what I would guess was '84 or '85 when they gor more popular...

  • This absolutely IS a pic from the apartment in the Dirt... It was taken in early 82...

  • One of the best debut albums ever hands down!!!!!

  • This one and Live Wire are the best from this album!

  • @MetalpuppyUS I prefer this and take me to the top

  • Godddd....I remember this album on my turntables in 1983....and it popping and cracking from so much play....!! Totally crunchy sound....and raw. Still sounds good today, even though old. They rocked it good...and can kick anyones arse today. Listen to "Down at the Whisky" from their last album and here them do their thing!!

  • Mötley Crüe is the BEST!!!!!!! =)

  • best song

  • i love the crue man. this is my personal favorite album of theirs. everything sounds so random and all over the place....but it fits like a glove. great album, great song.

  • i wish they would come to ireland. My favourite fucking band

  • Ohh man im in australia at the moment and forgot to put this album onto my laptop!!

This album is amazing for driving a little too fast around corners, windows open, on a really hot day. These tunes just blasting out.

(dont worry, country road, im the only one that would die if i crashed :) )
