this sons is to individual perspective. some take it as a break up song. just like me. this song really puts my thoughts and feelings after my gf broke up with me last year. when ariel said, 'meninggikan mu'..it has different meaning to everyone. some take it as i adore you, praise you. some say i bring you to where you are right now.. so, its individual perspective. just enjoy ariel's lyrical skills,ok?

I think the part meninggikan mu is pretty hard to translate. I would think it means, we are so blinded by love that we kinda see the one we loved as perfect and without flaw. Hence, the usage of terlalu meninggikan mu. This is really where the language barrier in terms of context comes into play. And its there throughout the song. Its really hard to translate the meaning, thus, I really wanna applaud the ones who made the effort to do this. Kudos!

Do you know the true meaning of this song? Nobody knows except Ariel. Ariel is the main problem because he writes vague lyrics with non-standard Indonesian language. Try to make subtitle yourself and you'll find out that you can't.
