Well this ending would make far more sense. Here's the biggest thingthat annoys me though. Connor is apparently killed in Endgame, but he is still alive in 2024 in Highlander 2. The moron that wrote Highlander 4 is a retard. Highlander 1-3 could, to some degree all exist as a series, but Endgame having Connor killed was completely stupid.

I'm glad you liked it. Concerning the third man in rule, as far as Jacob Kell was concerned, his fight with Duncan was over- in this version he wasnt going to kill him. Duncan was out. This allows Connor to legally enter the battle and challenge Kell fairly. Good point though, I thought about this a lot, that's why I edited Kell's dialouge with Duncan there.

Well if you look for some of the interviews for the film Lambert himself stated the only reason he did the film was because the character was being killed off, Lambert felt he was too old to be playing that character. (plus whoever decided to slick his hair needs to be shot it makes him look old as hell) Don't get me wrong the way he was killed sucked but Lambert himself was pretty adamant about putting the character to rest.

Highlander1 and 3 and the tv series are not the same universe and end game is the same universe as the tv series so Connor from highlander1 3 never died highlander 2 is non canon and so is Collin macleod and owen macleod.

The reason he is the way he is in this is because they totally ignore the other movies more or less in each of these. If the first one took place exactly as we saw it as a movie, he'd be the only and last immortal. The second is the only one that truly connects with any of them. All the rest are kinda loosely connected. Sucks, but oh well. This one and the first two are the only good ones in my opinion anyway. Although that Sci Fi Channel one, The Source I think, wasn't too bad.

Connor (Lambert)is just more badass than Duncan (Paul). Don't get me wrong, I love Duncan, but Connor is much better. Duncan goes too far into his bullshit series of contradictory principles and morals. I'd sooner draw a sword on Duncan than Connor. Connor killed the Kurgen, so he should have been able to handle Kell no problem.

Most def. Duncan was way to flashy and would often draw out his fights. And, try to justify his actions through ill logic. Amen. Although Richie was a little douchebag, I never liked the supernatural aspect of Highlander series. Once you start adding demons along with immortals you might as well add vampires and werewolves. When Connor died so did the highlander franchise. The Source was the nail in the coffin. Hopefully the remake will be a totally different version sort of like the Batman stories where Connor lives at the end. Make Duncan join a monetary or something.

If we forget the 2nd Highlander film, in the 3rd it's revealed that he has an accident with whilst driving, his wife dies, and he walks away from the crash alive etc. this is when its known that there must be other immortals alive still, eg the ones in the mountain, and pretty much everywhere else. The 4th film, is ok, the ending is awful, but still theres a lot going for this franchise, they just need to get back to basics, if they dothat you'll see some pretty decent stuff. Although The Source is rumoured to be the start of a fresh trilogy of Highlander films dealing with the birth of an immortals child and its repercussions for the world of mortals.

rudedude1974, in this version Rachel was not in that explosion making her very alive for Highlander 1. Also the years of Connor locked in Sanctuary have been changed to 1981 - 1984. Then after he kills Kell, he has the loft renovated just in time for the first movie in 1985.
