@Ionic0 keep in mind 2 things. the video is not in HD, and the 295 supports Dx10, not Dx11. I'm running the gtx 470 maxed out and the game is gorgeous.

@Ionic0 i guess you can say thats the catch... yes the 295 will make this game look great, but if you know what Dx11 offers, then you're downgrading almost. A friend and I ran the game in all 3 Dx versions to see the obvious, and its gets worse the more you go down. The only way to compare the 295 is to other Dx10 cards. Once you get into Dx11, you have a ton of cards to choose from.

HEY! how come i can run crysis 2 with advanced settings and 1920x1080 with 65+fps but i cant run bfbc2 on max settings? Heres my specs: 4GB RAM, CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1090T, GPU: GTX 570HD. I know my specs are not to bad but when i go to ''can you run it'' it says my CPU is to bad to run the game on recommended settings :/ Is this true or is that site just plain stupid?

I hope ill be able to play battlefield on high with fraps without lag. I know that's a hell of a lot to ask for but i want to create high quality montages. It wont be a problem if there's theatre though.

Better not get the SLI config and save some money on RAM and the processor.

Get the i5 2400, a cheap H67 mainboard, 4GB of RAM and a single GTX 580 and you should not have any trouble playing any game. In my case, I even sacrificed the quad core and run all my games on an i3 2120. Works perfectly. The GTX 570 does the main job :-) (overclocking the CPU you've chosen won't have any effect on FPS)

but cant run the game on medium settings it gifes me low FPS, got the latest drivers from nvidia etc, but almost nothing worked for me.

also went to settings ini. and chandeg DXversion to 9. it increased my fps but lowered the ingame graphings drastically (no higher AA as 1)

would be luvly if anyone got suggestions for me

Your PC is not cut out for this game so admit it. "resolution whore"? Um... Pro tip: More resolution = more visibility. You need that visibility to perform, not just for functioning. It's not an issue of being a whore.

My old laptop I got in 2006 chokes when playing modern games, so I avoid them until I am able to play it properly(which I can do now). @jackzhen123 I got Win7 64bit, 3gHz dual core CPU, the same graphics card that you do and 4gb of ddr3 and I can run it on lowest but it plays at 25-35 FPS and sometimes goes down to 10. Our hardware is almost the same but yours is slightly worse so I think you could play it but the FPS would be around 20-30 most of the time.

BF Bad Company 2 is an astounding online game. It is much better than Call of Duty MW2. The cars make the gameplay so very much more fun. If you didn't already tried the game, I highly recommend downloading it from BFBC2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ).

@jaki2455 personaly i would recomend getting a better video card (if you can buy one i recomend you buying a gtx 480(a little expensive but you won't need to replace the card for a long time) if your motherboard support), but the rest of your computer its almost overkill for this game.
