  • Dear ABRARALIBUTT,Sorry for late reply, you can use any lid,but dont cover the daal until it starts boiling, otherwise it will overflow, after that cover it and keep it on slow fire till its done. Good luck.

  • @truimagination555

PPL ALWAYS PUT THE ZEERA FIRST WHEN COOKING...haven't u ever seen indian and pakistani cooking before?

usually ppl put the zeera and mustard seeds when the oil is hot so the oil get seasoned with their flavors..

  • Can we make this in pressure cooker?

Does it taste better while cooking it in open pan?

  • You are so right, I was also thinking the same thing, zeera will burn if you do the same way as they have done in the video.

  • @peterhansenyellow

even when the zeera are burned they taste good..they will be ROASTED not burned..but of course if u are a gd cook u will make sure that they wont get completely black as THEY HAVE DONE IN THE VIDEO.!!!

  • Thank you. Makes very tasty daal.

  • Your ignorance is annoying.

  • Or rather I should say your rudeness!

  • This looks brilliant. It's really healthy too. I'm going to make this. Thanks for posting this, appreciate it :)

  • tarka dhal can i have some yellow dhal please

  • how much salt did you use?

  • Salt you can use as per your taste.

  • thX, I put one Spoon

    and it worked!!!

  • Very good demonstration and looks like a good recipe. I'll have to give it a try. This is much better than all those ridiculous TV shows where it's just about showing off. I can actually follow this and learn something. Thanks!

  • hey there, i absolutely adore this meal, have it every time i go to an indian restaurant. it would be cool to have a go at making it myself.

is there any chance you could list the ingredients and amounts in the video note, because although i know how they sound, i don't know how to spell them (i may have to buy some online).

your video is very precise and the end result looks delicious!

keep up the good work. 5*
