there were some parts of this video i really liked- mostly where there was more belly dancing mixed with actual mannerisms of a bat. However there were a LOT of blank parts. too much walking around. The costume, makeup, theatrics and mannerisms of a bat were great though.

i'd love to have the wings/hand set up for Vampire Ball. I don't see anywhere in her description where she mentions anything about being a belly /tribal dancer. If you don't like this kind of thing you don't have to watch it. Life is simple that way. Have a good one and I love seeing how different (key word there... ) people express their creativity.

Fantastic costume and make-up. Most people's "vampire" costumes are unconvincing but in this video I feel as though i was looking at a real, other-worldly demon. However the dance itself doesn't seem satisfying, as though she was relying on her costume rather than her technique to enchant and mystify the audience. There were some parts I liked, such as the spinning and hip-shimmies, but the struts and kicks were just...well, filling in music segments.

I love the wing things ( I want some!) and the effects and video editing are fantastic, but I'm not huge on the leg kicking thing. Your arms move gracefully but your legs seem a little stiff when you focus on them, which is a bit distracting as your legs are the most visible for most of the dance. Maybe using different levels would help?

Its a shame that so many people are so restrictive in any type of profession. If you dance you're only allowed to dance type. If a person is a martial artist, they are only allowed to use one style of martial arts. Poetry, sports, its all the same.

I don't think she was actually belly dancing, nor does it say she was belly dancing. She was just dancing and some of the moves had belly dance style. If you have ever been to a gothic club, you would see that the dancing is like this, very freeing and spontaneous. We dance however our moods dictate...this is sensual, raw and beautiful.
