I did this with VBA-Link. You can do it with only 2 players, it modifies the game according to how many characters and it's still a bit of a bitch to control at times.

The game's name is Zelda: FOUR swords. In my honest opinion I think if you are alone (no gamer friends), just don't play the game, cuz I wouldn't ...and if you do, you are going against the game's cause, which is have friends play together and have fun. You don't HAVE to have 4 friends though. If anyone still wants to play alone, go ahead, do as you please ;).

1) no, the game cube vertion is the secuel of this one and is not the same game

2) yeah, you can play with just one friend at last (2 player mode)

3) amm, not like a battle sistem... but to win the game you need to get more rupees than your friends... and to do so you'll need to actually fight with them...
