dispensationalism is false doctrine and replaces Christ's Bride (true Israel) with the whore of babylon (national israel). the everlasting covenant was and is with true Israel which includes Abraham, Jacob, ... Peter, Paul... etc. This is the mysterious way that "all Israel will be saved" romans 11.26.
@student507 You are correct about dispensationlism. However, it is erroneous contextually speaking to say all Israel "will be" future tense saved. The future perspective of that text only applied to the pre-70AD time. All Israel, in the context has been saved as a consummation of the Old Covenant fulfilling the prophecy. Covenantally speaking, the "Israel" (Old Covenant) people of that text no longer exists and were cast out in 70AD, Gal. 4:21-31.
Sure an entire group of people scattered all over the planet talking in different language and disconnected from each other because their was no TV,Phones,Internet, etc.. could just all return to Israel one day and get together start talking Hebrew again and defeat miraculous wars and declare a state in one Day. If you people think this was just a coincident then you all need to stop reading the bible and believe in UFO Aliens or something else.
@ZionistIDF With all due respect,it had nothing to do with modern technology. God confused their language (Gen 11) scattered the people and gave the gift of tongues (Joel 2:28-31; Acts 2:16-20, as a sign of impending judgment on recalcitrant Judah, saving the remnant of Israel (10 tribes and Judah) through Christ, their only hope of salvation and righteous. Unless you believe that Christ is the Messiah, you will die in your sins and where he is you cannot come, John 8:24; Gal. 3:7-8.
@ZionistIDF God's chosen people are all in Christ, the Israel of God. not a bunch of people (mostly east europeans who speak yiddish) who were forced to populate palestine and some politicians decided to start calling it the nation of Israel. Now the seminaries of those respective political countries go along with this delusion.
@student507 Well the Torah (The Hebrew Bible) says nothing of what you preach. I go by the Hebrew scripture and so far Prophecy according to the scripture completely backs me up. You are forgetting the 2 Million Jews scattered in the arab lands who have returned, you seem to focus on the White Ashkanazi Jews who are just as much Jewish as their brothers as per DNA. Anyway I chose to follow original Hebrew scripture and not fairy tales with no scripture to back it up.
@AllThingsFulfilled I am not talking about that, I am talking about how the Jews were scattered all over the planet and had no communication with each other, then in 1948 they all returned and started to speak an unspoken language (Hebrew) for the past 2000 years, then the desert turned Green and the Jews defeated their enemies outnumbered 1 to 10000. I am talking about Gods Chosen People and the fulfilling of Prophecy.
@ZionistIDF 1948 is as far away from Bible prophecy as the farthest star is from the earth. It has nothing to do with the Bible or the Covenant people of the Bible but is a modern day attempt to claim Bible support for a political and nationalistic claim of a people to justify a claim to be given land that others had no right to give for the removal of those with legitimate right. There is no possible way to justify it or find it in scripture.
@AllThingsFulfilled Um OK, LOL whatever, I see what the problem is, Envy makes one man blind to the truth, your envy has spilled over. I will leave you alone, no point in debating someone who cant accept the truth and recognize a miracle when he sees one. Go back to thinking what you want, its a free country and you have free will. I don't believe in the JEW Jesus being the messiah but I know you do, go ahead worship the Jew, it makes no difference to me. Am Yisrael Chai.
I wonder what you are thinking now, Sept 26 2011? Is is not becoming clearer now to you, that we ARE in the end times of the bible? Look at Israel. Look at the middle east. Read the bible again . Read Revelation.
@nonentity2012 I wonder what you are thinking not. It is Dec. 3rd, and there has never been an end of the material world and never will be. Stop listening to the rhetoric of Harold Camping, Joel Rosenberg and other false prophetic teachings which are nothing but sensational money-making hype preying on the naivete of the simple-minded and unlearned who refuse to read and study the Bible for themselves even when the language is as clear as that shown in the video. Get help.
what about the book of Daniel..these things shall be sealed until the end days..?.The *things * he is referring to, have been sealed until recently...it is only NOW in this generation, that Daniel is being un-sealed.
@nonentity2012 The events of Daniel that were sealed until the end, were unsealed about 600 later in the book of Revelation (22:6-10), because Jesus was coming quickly and did in fact come and John was emphatically told "do not seal" the book for the time is at hand for these things to shortly be done. Now unless Daniel and John spoke of two different end times (impossible) I suggest to you that the end came quickly, (1 Pet. 4:7, 17; 1 Jno. 2:18-19), and we have no last days!
Now you guy's have really confused me! I go to a church that believes and uses spiritual gifts, and I have had dreams and visions, and I was taught that these gifts ARE being used in THESE last days! Not the other last days! So what is going to happen to me, if I continue to use my spiritual gifts to help others?? Am I going to burn in hell. Supposed I make the wrong decision?? Will I be held accountable. I've been praying for Christ to lead me to the right answer for years, and I believe he is.
@UFO4X Being confused is not going to condemn you. That is a good step in the right direction of learning if your mind is open. Study your way out of traditionalism and hype. Trust the word of God and not your feelings, imagination, etc.
And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (not to heaven but from heaven)
@BuyaahKazan Well, if you had just kept reading you would have solved your dilemma. Why stop at verse 31, and omit verse 34. Assuredly, I say to you this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place." That's when he sent his angels and gathered the elect, in the first century generation. Can't change the facts even if you have difficulty accepting them.
You are correct. I don't have to worry about the rapture and I don't. It is simply a made up theory that has blinded the minds of many and keep them trapped in psychedelic eschatology and hyper-fanaticism that leads no where. It makes prominent proponents very rich also. Yes, leave me behind and I'll be just fine in the New Jerusalem that came down from heaven to be with men, (Rev. 21:1-3). That's the opposite direction claimed by Rapture pundits. Guess they need to read the Bible upside down.
@AllThingsFulfilled Thanks William. As a recovering former Tim Lahaye, Jerry Jenkins, Hal Lindsey, following mindless robot of false eschotological paradigms, I really enjoy and appreciate solid Biblical teaching on the end of the age and the fullfillment of the New Covenant. My Christian life is much more fullfilling and purposeful now that I am not looking for the anti-christ boogy monster around every corner, and an escape hatch so I don't have to face responsibility in my Christian life.
@VeryImagesozo So refreshing to hear read intelligent comments of people who study. Comments like these are certainly something to be grateful for on this day.
Sir, you don't have to worry about the Rapture. I doubt you will be going. You will be "left behind." I thank God that Joel Rosenberg and others like him continue to shout the Truth from the rooftops, even in the face of the worldly opposition and opposition from other Christians like you, who are are blindly arrogant. May God open the eyes of your heart before it is too late.
How can you make such a comment like that? The speaker used several scriptural texts to buttress what he is saying. And they clearly seem to support what he believes. Furthermore, our salvation is not even based on whether or not we believe in the rapture or that the End is past or in the future. It is based on believing in Christ; the fact that the father sent him to die and save us from our sins. So why judge him? Maybe you need to examine your own eyes first, my brother.
@trimmedlamp So far, we are right and Rosenberg is wrong. There has been no rapture, and never will be. It's a false hope that makes fools of the unwise.
If I wasn't 100 percent convinced that your comments were true, I'd have stopped 30 years ago. The world is changing, futurism is dying and it's just a matter of time.
3. This generation = we who are alive and remain, and is therefore the first century generation who lived in the time of Christ.
4. The Greek word "apantesis" when used with Parousia, always means to meet a dignitary official on his way to his final destination and escort him the rest of the way, not back to where he was. See the word used in Matt. 25:6, where they meet the bridegroom and go to the wedding, not to the bridgegroom's home. See also where the brethren meet Paul, Acts 28:15).
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1. "We which [who] are alive and remain" means those who lived at the time Paul wrote. Were you there? How could someone alive then be yet alive today? Remember, you're reading someone else's mail. The letter was written to the Thessalonicans.
2. Paul wrote according to the word of the Lord. Thus the trumpet, resurrection, coming in the clouds, and gathering, (per Matt. 24:31) are all governed by the time statement in verse 34. "This generation will by no means pass till all is fulfilled."
while you try to DENY bible prophecy I'm not going to allow you to poison my mind with your opinionated view of bible endtimes prophecy, I've studying bible prophecy since i was 15, I'm 30 now and know you're clearly twisting the world of God
Then you lose another argument because you were still soiling diapers when I began my study. If you start out saying 2 + 2 = 3, & repeat that for 15, years, it just means you've studied wrong for 15 years. It's not the time of your study but the quality and accuracy with the text. If a first grader learned 2 + 2 = 4 in five minutes, he would be more accurate than someone who studied wrong for 15 yrs, right? Otherwise, your mind was poisoned long before now. Readers can judge opinion from logic.
The problem with tongues speakers is their doctrine of salvation. They also are showing a lack of faith by seeking a sign. Sorry, I do have doubts about the pre-trib rapture but I have also concluded that eternal security is correct and that tongues (and other signs supposedly required as proof of the Holy Spirit)are erroneous doctrines from the same source: the KJV Bible. I studied these issues myself, unlike MANY believers. I still go to a Bible believing church though.
Apparently you haven't read very much about this topic or history. It shouldn't take much for you to research a bit of church history and find authors who published books on it either before or during the same time dispensationalism was in diapers. Most importantly, the New Testament is inspired history.
joels prophecy is partially fulfilled in new testament times but will be more fully manifested and completely fulfilled just before the actual return of the LORD. this is the common pattern of prophetic fulfillment. case closed. no need for division
Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
I haved read all these comments n checkout your scritures that u all haved proposed.MOst of them dont talk about the secound coming there saying u will be called up so how is jesus coming down if your being called up. NOt only that jesus on the cross said it is FINISHED. Also to the romans he said his kingdom is in heaven not earth. REad the scriptures study history do the research pray and meditate on it. Ask for the holyspirit to guide u. LEt god speak to u here the voice then comment back.
I disagree with you. There are more wars and earthquakes today then ever before [St. Matthew 24].
As an Orthodox, I believe in the echatological teachings of the fathers, to better understand the Holy Scriptures. Our Lord taught John the Revelator, John taught Polycarp, Polycarp taught Ignatius [who knew the Lord as a child] of Antioch, & Ignatius taught Hyppolytus of Rome.
Read "On Christ and AntiChrist" by Hippolytus to see the link between Daniel & the Apocolypse.
Repent for teaching without understanding Scripture or YOU WILL BE LEFT BEHIND and will receive Tartarus (Outer Darkness) as your reward! You have been warned! I tell you this with the love of Christ because I do not want your soul to be doomed forever.
Matthew 21:40When the Lord therefore of the vineyard COMES, what will He do to those husbandmen? 41They say to Him,He will miserably destroy those wicked men,and will let out His vineyard to other husbandmen Matthew 23 34-36, which shall render Him the fruits in season.
Acts 6 7-14 Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place,NOW YOU HAVE TO COME TO DESTROY SOMETHING!If you understood what,He comes with clouds means, like every old testament passage was on Clouds, their wouldn't be a problem.
Yes, Jesus is coming soon. The Rapture is a separate event from the 2nd coming in glory.
If one understands the latter rain in Joel 2:23 and also 1Corinthians 14:1-5, then they would know the truth being revealed by the torch bearers and eagles right now.
Only the remnant will understand because they watch and seek the Lord's presence. They have the oil in their lamps which is the Holy Spirit. Matthew 25
Many self-professing christians will go to hell because they are not true believers
The Bible knows nothing about 2 separate end time events. It is one parousia. See that term used in both 1 Cor. 15 and 1 Thess 4. It is the time of the end.
According to WikiAnswers, someone gets left behind about every 10 seconds. If you are still here, you've been left behind, but one day you'll go like all the rest. God is very efficient, since he already has a way of removing people from the earth and getting them to heaven or elsewhere just fine, he doesn't need a Rapture. He's a very efficient God and doesn't waste his energy. Citing a text is not an interpretation or sound argument.
All things fulfilled. See Matt. 24:34; Lk. 21:20-22.
Revelation is about the destruction of the city where Christ was crucified, (Rev. 11:8). That's the ancient city of Jerusalem destroyed by Rome in 70 AD. Following it's destroyed came the marriage of the Lamb, (See Matt. 22:1-8; Rev. 19:1-8; 22:1-9.

White believed she had the gift of prophecy, subscribed to a yet future return of Christ after the embarrassing disappointment of the Millerite movement in October 1844, which would terminate the present world, and was a Sabbatarian. I subscribe to neither and teach Jesus already returned in A.D. 70, Matthew 24:30, 34, to and within the same evil and adulterous generation which crucified him. Matt. 12:38-40, Lk. 17:25. So no comparison.
It grieves me to read some of the comments here from folks who will not put their pet beliefs on hold long enough to have them challenged but then attack that which they don't even understand. It is a cardinal rule of truth seeking that one should not dismiss the views held by another until they can present the contrary view in a manner acceptable to those who hold it. To challenge the view, much less the motives of a person without due diligence is not becoming of Christian conduct.
We are seeing the signs of how revelation 13 verse 16 and 17 would be fulfilled. There are economic, religious and political signs obvious to those who can see in Jesus way. One world government and economic systems that will allow revelation 13 verse 16 and 17 to be fulfilled. please don't confuse anyone. Jesus is lord.
Well, it's been a year now and no end, so who's the false prophet so far? This message board will forever be a testimony against all my detractors? Each day that passes is another proverbial egg on your face for non-fulfillment of yet future eschatological rantings...Maybe you should look for stop signs!
I am not a teacher yet. But have you read mathew chapter 24 verse 40 and verse 41. Please have you read first or 1thessalonians verse 15-17. Please i hope you will read those verses and correct your teachings because the words of God is true and cannot lie.
Yet, if you pay real close attention it will not be hard to see how interpreting scripture that literal would pose a big problem in the end when certain things that coincide with the verses he uses cannot be taken lateral. That is why I will write it again, everyone that reads this, read your Bibles don't listen to false doctrines, just because its easier to hear then to read.
dissecting this video to expose the hidden contradictions this doctrine teaches, however it would be tedious to do so, and I'm hoping that by the grace of God people will have more sense then to stop here and believe what you have to say without seeking another opinion. ( I am however curious to know if anyone else has noticed how Mr. Bell has first off, interpreted the verses he quotes in this video, in the most literal terms possible)
Paul and the deciples died during the tribulation the lord was warning THEM about 144,000 died during those 7 years THE DECIPLES WERE 12 OF THEM the frist fruits not you.you are latter friut,Simon Bar Kochba{look him up on any jewish website or in jocephus writings] to learn of the 7 year tribulation .THE ones heeding warnings survived to get us the new testament.look history before you talk..it is HIS witness.
. All you do is completely misguide verses out of context, you don't go into depth as to what was specifically being talked about and what was taking place when the verses were being spoken to the people, you simply quickly skip from verse to verse, and expect to make a point by laying it out with what your teaching (the fulfillment of the end times in the 1st century, (you directly address this at least 16 times in the video)) . I guess I could go ahead and start
I can defiantly make my argument based on scripture, however this is not the place to create arguments, I somewhat imagine anyway that you are consciously misinterpreting the scriptures and are taking advantage of the people that would prefer to be taught then to seek out the truth in their Bibles, so making an argument is vain. My previous comments is to simply have people read their Bibles then to listen to your blabbing of certain verses from the Bible, that you manipulate, and confuse.
You say that there "is so much misinformation that is being presented on the end time, because people are simply not reading the scriptures" that's true and you know what makes me laugh even more about the whole statement you made - is that you are talking about yourself in it too!
for it is written "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know we who teach will be judged more strictly". (James:3:1) I am not a teacher of the Bible, but to everyone that reads this don't be fooled, and don't fall into the category that Bell here has summed many in. Read your Bibles and ask God to help you understand it, the Bible is clear to those that study, test everything you here about it by what you read in it.
I think a lot of people find it easier to just listen to someone then actually reading, but I tell you that in that same manner many are lead astray. "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, they will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them - bringing swift destruction on themselves. (continued)
Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping". (2 Peter:2:1-3)
If you're using this scripture in an attempt to refute the message it's very obvious that ignore the context. Read the verses again and you will see clearly that Peter warns his first century audience about false teachers present among them.
I have read it, extensively. If you don't believe there is a rapture then why do I need to pray for myself? I will not be taking the mark even if I was left behind, because I love Jesus and I read, study, and comprehend His Word.

"This generation will by no means pass till all is fulfilled."

while you try to DENY bible prophecy I'm not going to allow you to poison my mind with your opinionated view of bible endtimes prophecy, I've studying bible prophecy since i was 15, I'm 30 now and know you're clearly twisting the world of God
raidernation7878 2 years ago
Then you lose another argument because you were still soiling diapers when I began my study. If you start out saying 2 + 2 = 3, & repeat that for 15, years, it just means you've studied wrong for 15 years. It's not the time of your study but the quality and accuracy with the text. If a first grader learned 2 + 2 = 4 in five minutes, he would be more accurate than someone who studied wrong for 15 yrs, right? Otherwise, your mind was poisoned long before now. Readers can judge opinion from logic.

Bell has done plent of videos on the book of Revelation, but I am not sure if he has read "Revelations".

Seems that way!

The1Indignitary 3 years ago
Apparently you haven't read very much about this topic or history. It shouldn't take much for you to research a bit of church history and find authors who published books on it either before or during the same time dispensationalism was in diapers. Most importantly, the New Testament is inspired history.

WARNING: This user & the websites he promotes are hyperpreterist -- hyperpreterists believe:
#1 Jesus came back once & for all in AD70
#2 The resurrection of the believers happened once & for all in AD70
#3 The judgment of the wicked & the righteous happened in AD70
These positions are not like ANYTHING in historic Christianity & thus are NOT Christian.

I agree. He is false teacher. He needs to really seek Jesus and get the truth.

i agree as well this man is a false teacher, the rapture of the church is found mant times in the bible

joels prophecy is partially fulfilled in new testament times but will be more fully manifested and completely fulfilled just before the actual return of the LORD. this is the common pattern of prophetic fulfillment. case closed. no need for division

Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Bro.,
I disagree with you.

All things fulfilled?
Sorry but you are incorrect.
Not all of the book of Revelation has been fulfilled.
The Rapture, Wedding Feast of the Lamb, Armageddon, and the 1000 year reign of Christ are yet to come.
Why do you deceive the brethren?

Matthew 25
Many self-professing christians will go to hell because they are not true believers
renzaura 3 years ago

19:1-8; 22:1-9.

the 2nd Coming did NOT take place in AD 70. Nor did the rest of the Eschatological Complex:
The Resurrection
The Final Judgment

Did you get your prophecy from Ellen G. White? Sorry for the assumption it sounds like typical Seventh Day Adventism.
God bless you brother.
laeandrie 4 years ago

Can you make an argument from the scripture or will you just make comments?
AllThingsFulfilled 4 years ago
Yet, if you pay real close attention it will not be hard to see how interpreting scripture that literal would pose a big problem in the end when certain things that coincide with the verses he uses cannot be taken lateral. That is why I will write it again, everyone that reads this, read your Bibles don't listen to false doctrines, just because its easier to hear then to read.
SecillianOEspanol 4 years ago
dissecting this video to expose the hidden contradictions this doctrine teaches, however it would be tedious to do so, and I'm hoping that by the grace of God people will have more sense then to stop here and believe what you have to say without seeking another opinion.

MikeGram101 4 years ago
SecillianOEspanol 4 years ago
I can defiantly make my argument based on scripture, however this is not the place to create arguments, I somewhat imagine anyway that you are consciously misinterpreting the scriptures and are taking advantage of the people that would prefer to be taught then to seek out the truth in their Bibles, so making an argument is vain. My previous comments is to simply have people read their Bibles then to listen to your blabbing of certain verses from the Bible, that you manipulate, and confuse.
SecillianOEspanol 4 years ago
You say that there "is so much misinformation that is being presented on the end time, because people are simply not reading the scriptures" that's true and you know what makes me laugh even more about the whole statement you made - is that you are talking about yourself in it too!
SecillianOEspanol 4 years ago
for it is written "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know we who teach will be judged more strictly". (James:3:1) I am not a teacher of the Bible, but to everyone that reads this don't be fooled, and don't fall into the category that Bell here has summed many in. Read your Bibles and ask God to help you understand it, the Bible is clear to those that study, test everything you here about it by what you read in it.
SecillianOEspanol 4 years ago
I think a lot of people find it easier to just listen to someone then actually reading, but I tell you that in that same manner many are lead astray. "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, they will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them - bringing swift destruction on themselves. (continued)
SecillianOEspanol 4 years ago
Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping". (2 Peter:2:1-3)
SecillianOEspanol 4 years ago
If you're using this scripture in an attempt to refute the message it's very obvious that ignore the context. Read the verses again and you will see clearly that Peter warns his first century audience about false teachers present among them.

So I pray for you becasue you are in a very subtle way leading souls away from true scripture.

I have read it, extensively. If you don't believe there is a rapture then why do I need to pray for myself? I will not be taking the mark even if I was left behind, because I love Jesus and I read, study, and comprehend His Word.
