lampard technically like skill, gerrard in long shots lol. lampard is the playmaker. gerrard is the one who shoots from 20metres + and usually sacks the ball in.

if you want to know who is the overall better of the two. it's gerrard. because he has the capability of changing the game. he can fire a thirty yard shot and score in the last seconds to change the game. he can change everything. however if you want to know who i would like to have on my dream team it's lampard because he is the playmaker he is the one who passes an inball for drogba to smash it in, he is more intelligent BUT he cannot change the game like gerrard. so gerrard by a small bit -.-

he cant? he scored the winning goal against wigan in the dying minute last season. he even changed the game against liverpool last two seasons and last season in the UEFA champs. well. i dont see playmaker in lampard. but in gerrard, yes. lampard. he doesnt do skill. he barely just pall the ball around. and if you watched the game England vs Croatia. Lampard did fired a 30++yard shot. on target. dude, im still going for lampard. THE FIRST MIDFIELDER TO SCORE A HUNDRED GOAL FOR A TEAM. legend

ok dude you asked for my opinion. i tried in every way to make you understand that to me they're both equally excellent players and that is was a very hard choice to pick between the two. seeing as chelsea is also my favourite english team. and ummm dude...lampard scored a head not a 30 yard shot. i don't know if you thumbs-downed me but if you did that's very disrespectful of you. btw lampard's scored around 85 goals for chelsea and gerrard around 70. but lampard's two years older.

no i didnt thumb-downed you. he fired a 30++ "on target" but the croatian keeper saved it. im not a chelsea fan. im more into Man United.
