If they could make the dialogue feel 'right', this would be an amazing premise for a film. The characters are amazing- a man dabbling in the shady side of life with the fastest ship in the sector, a jedi who has left her master behind to die, a clone who has watched the rest of his squadron die and to top it all off, a sith lord who has recently been "promoted" from padawan after the "accidental" death of his master. Someone should really make this movie, but not Lucas... please god not Lucas...

The last thing you want to do is see a movie made of this - it is on the platform and media it was made for. I think a lot of people look at Lucas' recent work in the Star Wars universe and only think about the tragedy of the prequel movies or the legendary status of the original Star Wars movies. He should be getting some major props on all the great stuff going on in the books movies and such...

But, since he's retiring from Star Wars and focusing on small budget films from here on out, someone has to take on the leadership of were the future of Star Wars is going. Lucas isn't going to live forever. And Blur Studios has proven themselves, with these cinematics, to be more than capable on the cinematic side to keep Star Wars alive.

@JoePrice7 And, I disagree that the material used in games would only work for the games they were created for. Granted, the plots in games are very long and drawn out compared to film. But, with some condensing and editing most would translate quite well. The Tomb Raider Trilogy is an example were the story was far better than the movie plots. I haven't played the game yet, but the basic plot and kind of work done in this cut scene would definitely work for a Star Wars film.

The crew who created the Cinematic scenes for this game need to be funded by Lucas to create a full length movie. I'd definitely watch a, completely CG, movie like this. The pacing, choreography, camera work, lighting, voice acting, etc. were all excellent. Not one moment or "shot" was boring. This is definitely the future of fantasy cinema. No limitations on what can be done. Since Lucas has retired, pass the torch to these guys.

I have loved star wars since the day I first saw it. My dad introduced me with the phantom menace, and I loved it. I then watched the rest of the saga and was amazed. By age six, I was a jedi. @spazzymagey As an animator myself, It can be hard to make a realistic looking character to look, well, realistically, if its stylized we do not mind if the characters do not move as real people do.

Remember that these are clay figures that get scanned and then animated and painted digitally, this means that the animators can dedicate their time to the writing and effects and not worry much about making the characters look realistic.

Although I admit the hair could be better.

Who are any of these characters and why should we give a crap about their fate in this sequence? It works for a video game I guess but it is nothing more than leeching off the nostalgia of the original movies. Charming rogues smugglers with fast ships, jedi, and mind numbing lightsaber fights. Does anyone else miss the original films style of using lightsabers as a unique cinematic tool to express the internalization of the characters and not a standard issue CGI weapon seen in every frame?
