  • Man I wish I was on board... Especially to feel that kick ass sensation when the brakes come off :-)

  • And that was done at reduced TO-2 power, not full power at all...gotta love the B777...

  • brand new 77W?

  • Great . Many thanks

  • I flew that plane DTW-LAX on July 2.

  • LUDACRIS SPEED---------GO!

  • brand spanking new i was there a week ago to see how these babies were built unbelievable

  • Wow

  • 1:34. best sound <3

  • God that's good.

  • awesome recording

  • Love those GE-90's; 1:36 (best part of the video).

  • wow!

  • AN AWESOME PASSENGER AIRCRAFT. I LOOK FOR DELTA TO REPLACE THE OLDER 767's WITH IT. INITIAL COST IS HIGH, BUT VERY ECONOMICAL TO OPERATE. AMERICAN MADE, NOT THAT EUROPEAN JUNK--AIRBUS !!

  • @MACH3KAWASAKI

Delta won't replace the 767 with a 777. The 777 is a much larger aircraft. Delta will keep the 767s for a few more years, and then decide between the 787 and the A350. The 787 is closer in size to the 767 than the 777 is, so it's a better fit for a 767 replacement.

  • @pilotguy1223 I HAVE BEEN RETIRED DAL FOR 10 YEARS, SO TRY AS I MAY, I CAN'T KEEP UP WITH IT ALL. I FLEW ON A NW/DAL A320 THIS PAST SUMMER.

COMPARED TO BOEING IT SEEMED LIKE A YUGO. I'M HOPING THAT OUR AMERICAN AIRLINES BUY AMERICAN MADE BOEING. I HAVE STOCK IN BOEING AND HARLEY DAVIDSON AND THE WEAK ECONOMY IS HURTING BOTH. THE HARLEY WAS DOING VERY WELL UNTIL AN EMPLOYEE STRIKE. YOU ARE CORRECT ABOUT THE 777 REPLACING THE 767. THE LAST FIGURE I SAW, THE 777 WAS A $ 200 MILLION AIRCRAFT

  • great inclination

  • perfect capture!

  • Love that livery and those huge triple seven engines, and she wasn't even trying hard ! BOEING A/C's rock !

  • I was on that flight from PAE to SEA. It was AMAZING. Go Delta go!

  • There's POWER on those engines! :-D

  • great video. Love the climbout!

  • DAL9922 Heavy on tour :P

  • that quick climb out reminds me of the old 440!

  • nice video camera very good quality

  • Those engines could eat a house!!

  • Nicely designed aircraft - CRAPPY looking paint job. GAK! I hate the "White Whale" look. Delta used to have one of the coolest paint schemes out there.

  • @DaJester

Are you referring to the "Deltaflot" liveries? Personally, I think that a 777 in "Deltaflot" colors would look absolutely terrible. But one painted in the Adiemus-era paint scheme would be great!

  • @scaremenga

Not sure what the "Deltaflot" or "Adiemus" paint schemes are - was refering to the older Blue and white schemes with the actual DELTA shape on the tail. IMHO, one of the best behind Capital Airlines "Red Eagle" and American Airlines "Red, White & Blue on Silver" scheme.

  • Wow those GE90's sound absolutely awesome. No pax + empty fuel tanks = fun climb

  • it is called operating in the bubble

  • great job....!

  • Awesome video!

  • the 777 rules!!!

  • lol the guy flying was joy ridn that thing... if there where people in that thing they would have thrown up lol.. nice..

  • @superfreak19 If it had pax and baggage on board it wouldnt have been able to climb that fast anyway. Probably nearly empty of fuel since it was only going to SeaTac, gotta love those GE90s

  • @xlfailblog: This is real, stupid.

@stonebridgeboy86: Yeah, I wish more pilots would do this. Nowadays it seems most just launch right out of taxiing to the runway.

  • Your name describes why you thought it was a sim.

  • Loved how they stood on the brakes and then launched, brilliant!

  • 1:20!

  • Saint6671, I'd rather knock your pud into the ground. It seems there has to always be a troglodyte showing off their doltishness and boorishness on what otherwise would be an exciting site. It's too bad YouTube hasn't the cojones to permanently ban you.

  • awesome

  • I was a nav in a lightweight KC-135 tanker with water injection for a test that did this. It was a kick in the pants but I doubt as spectacular as this. At least a 45 degree climb out if not more. Looked like fun!

  • ... despite being the pitcher in this situation it still makes you gay

  • i love your video keep it up

  • Paine Field is pretty close to me (Mill Creek). That was a steep climb. I love going over there to the Museum of Flight to watch planes take off. Amazing modern marvels! I don't like to fly at all because it doesn't feel natural at all but I have such respect for these transport vehicles. How can I get over my fear of flying (turbulence)? Any suggestions?

  • i love to see planes as large as these take off, there's so much raw power :D

  • i dont get what the big controversy is about.

  • Wow those pilots must carry their balls in wheelbarrows.

  • The only thing that would have made this take-off better was a nice barrel roll. Love the beauty and grace of the Boeings!

  • Interesting take off! heheheh..love the sound! go DELTA

  • I was there for this. All was good with IFE when it landed lol

  • BLOODY HELL!!! at 1:40 plane just completely shakes, hilarious

  • No this was the takeoff delivery flight from PAE to SEA, not the SEA to ATL flight.

  • Add to cart.

  • Not many airliner take off videos are as exciting as this one!! When brakes are released the aircraft seems to be eager to get the hell out of the floor!

  • I didn't like Delta's new livery, but after seeing it on this B777-200ER i've kind of fallen in love with it

  • don't you think that it should read, "from Sea-Tac" airport since this is probably headed to KATL

  • @grassroot3 . The flight was from PAE (Paine Field - Everett, WA) to SEA (Sea-Tac - Seattle, WA) about 30mi away and not SEA-ATL.

  • with that climb rate my guess is destination KMOON

  • Comment removed

  • Brilliant!

  • Good Lord! Look out F-22 Raptors, the 777 is gonna replace you LOL

  • why was it at sea??

  • A brake release takeoff then alpha max climbout. I don't think there was any passengers aboard therefore v1 was achieved at a shorter time

  • NICE!!

  • pilot having some fun with the new toy lol... awesome!

  • whats angle for take of?

  • now thats a short field takeoff!

  • That was incrediible!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

  • Impressive indeed, those folks sitting at D4 must have definitely felt like they may be sitting in a space rocket!!! :P

  • The sound of those engines <3 And the acceleration!!!

  • wow! it doesn't look very comfy for the passengers...

  • Stunning take-off!! Wish I'd been on board!

  • love how u can see the cockpits been shared from the 67 lol btw this has been featured on airliners way to go

  • Woah! It looks like someone blasts it away with a slingshot. Awesome! That's why I love the T7.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • magnificent... still my favorites these 777's

  • wooooow I love it!! nice video dude ;)

  • cjg2k9, or it could be due to atc restrictions... either way he didn't just "realize it" he can follow the speed on his speed tape and adjust the pitch to a certain climb out speed

  • Not really a fan of the 777 but that video is awesome!

  • The queen of the skies!! awesome

  • Obviously a ferrying flight. The GE90 wth its big gaping mouth is the ugliest on the 777s. RR's Trent is much better looking.

  • awesome rocket!!!

  • 777+GE90=Masterpiece

  • WOW!

  • omg!!! this is awesome, i´m in extasis.

Airbus: no way they can do that.

please, tell me if i´m wrong.

  • delivery flight to seatac from paine field

  • delivery flight from paine field to sea tac for first revenue flight

  • WOW!!!

  • GE90s give me an orgasm! :O

  • 30 seconds from power-up to rotate, that baby must be empty, but what a sight!!

  • Yeahh!!! Just Give the Captain the "Thumb-Up" For The Total Satifaction Of Maximum-Power for a Goooodd Taaake Offff!!! Thumbs Up!!!

    Cheers!!!

  • Where was it taking off from.

  • WOW! awesome GE90 sound!! love the climb, pretty steep eh?

  • so geil man!

  • You can almost see the pilots big boyish grin when he pulls back on the yoke!!

  • WOW...new plane. Love it.

  • up up and away...

  • He read back the wrong clearance!

  • Well the runway was 34. So the heading the controller said was 340, which is basically runway heading since the runway is 34. Get it?

  • I used to live at the Naval housing complex...right between 34L/34R. Used to watch 47's and trip 7's do amazing climbouts on their way to Moses Lake...Empty, the 47's would seem to be a cruising altitude before they reached the other end of the runway!lol...especially if there were a good headwind!. Miss those days!

  • one word damn!!! can wiat to see her in atl!!!!

  • Reminds me of the Boeing 720B takeoff.

  • Oh! that was so awesome.

  • this is for sure a ferry flight! you can observe it the time it adds thrust and releases the brakes, the acceleration and the distance until rotation.

  • tell me there are no passengers onboard :))))

  • @koukoune25

    --> customer flyaway

  • @koukoune25 No, there isn't it's her delivery flight

  • No this plane was empty

no passengers and low fuel I think

  • Yes just 10% of fuel

  • @koukoune25 No there are not passengers aboard, that was the delivery flight, so it was empty, that is why it used so little runway on takeoff, and was able to climb so steeply initially.

  • @koukoune25 haha, no way. the plane had to be mostly empty to do that. it's just two pilots having fun, that's all.

  • It did not have pax because it was departing from Paine Field In WA where there make the 777s

  • There are none. This is a delivery flight from Boeing Field. Where this aircraft was made

  • take a look at the description..."customer flyaway to Sea-Tac"...its a delivery flight...

  • @koukoune25

Hehe, no, this was a very short delivery flight, no cargo, no passangers, very little fuel = rocket take-off :)

  • Juicy!! :)))

  • increible la potencia de esos GE90, y deci que le aflojo o si no esa bestia sigue subiendo al ritmo de unos 4000 pies por minuto.

  • it is a 777-200LR. magnificent.

  • 77L or 777-200LR with GE 90 engines!

  • @Jm4nu3l no

  • A no no. Es un 777-200LR!

  • Comment removed
