I don't know how they'll live there, but the whole plot has been to get to earth so they'll probably stay there. Maybe they'll just orbit around it staring longingly.

Their journey is over. Unless they decide to leave earth. But I think they'll stay even if it is nuked. They spent 3 years getting there. They must be so bummed though. It's just like Caprica now.
