  • Good video. I agree with everything you said. I've been married almost nine years, have a great income, two graduate degrees, but that has nothing to do with my ability to be a husband and a father. I never have really understood the concept of meeting someone in a loud club. I met my wife at work. I actually got to know her. Look at the heart and not the superficial. Marriage is a long journey.

  • everybody is different not all black women are like that. im from new york.the black women out here ask us for money more than anything we cant even afford rent a apartment out here. i love atl women they are nice virtous and down to earth and yall have the most beautiful accent

  • Wow! you sound so intelligent and wise, thank you siSTAR

  • This is a true statement I make over 75,000 a year and it's funny when I tell women what I do they look like it's not good enough it's amazing but who cares it's just I see so many At Lucky or Velvet and IRS just a group of women they never talk to men so why go out stay home with ur silver bullet

  • @movicoboy43 Sweetie, those are not places to meet a wife so you should EXPECT to meet those type of women who constantly hang out in the club scene. Try online dating, join a few meetup.com groups or just go to the book store. Be open because there are A LOT of great women out there.

    With Love,

    Shay Your Date Diva

  • I hope this is not the case with all women. I will be visiting the ATL in summer hope you guys will not judge me on what i wear or what you think i earn

  • well said

  • well said you are a very smart lady cool peace lol

  • Lmao...its funny that most of the comments that are 'thumbed up' are brothas sounding off at these silly sistas. But hey...this is why many successful black males date outside the race...just keeping it real. Sistas havent learned to let a man be a MAN. They want to be in control to much and haven't learned to be humble yet

  • I have to agree with what you were saying it is a turn off to hear about what do you do and your car, I do have a nice white collar job and I drive a BMW 7 but that doesnt mean anything I could loose my job and total my car and have to start over with all that, I would rather drive a corolla and have a job at target (not downing target) and just have someone to love me for me I love Atlanta but I am tired of that as well.

  • Like your post babygirl just wish alot more women felt and thought the way you just said that but the truth is more often than not most black women think about the money first and material things

  • yeah, I agree... but I've always wondered, cause i hear it all the time. Why do guys call girls crazy? Or Psycho? Maybe you should do a video on that!

  • r u serious he probably didnt feel like dating 007 or sherlock holmes wit ya 21 questions lol. N dis aint about crazy women this is about a bitter women who keeps having men loose interest her 4 whatever reason keep it 100

  • Ggghh

  • Shay you have said a hand full about relation with a blackman you are so right! I had two Texas brothers betray me so its not just an Altanta thing its a blackman thang so matter how nice or given or kind you are blackmen tend to stray away Hallie is number 1 role model to show this of our blackmen! What is wrong with our blackmen! For real somebody tell me i settle for a low budget blackman and he still acted a fool! Someone tell me what the deal is!

  • ya know, just cause u have 2 TELL women this kind of defeats the argument that men r the problem. uh-oh, i'm gonna get negative comments coming from bw everwhere! i can c it...they're clicking "thumbs down" on my comment right now, lol!

  • not only are you are but you're smart...educate! seriously lol

  • Also, would it kill some of y'all to learn how to cook? Maybe hit up the Gym every so once in a while? Man I see so many overweight people in the ATL, it's quite depressing.

Too many black folks both men AND women, are suffering from diabetes, hypertension, & what-have you. Heck you don't even have to go to a gym, just walk the stairs instead taking the elevator. I've read somewhere that just taking the stairs in a year takes at off AT LEAST 6 pounds of fat.

    I'm just sayin', ya heard?

  • It's too bad these sistas who are lacking in love life didn't make the effort to deal with the men early in life who were in college with them. This area is where so many black women fail.

They try to play this "hard-to-get" bullcrap with the ambitious young brothas who are doing something & then get surprised when these men decide that's enough is enough & move to more saner waters.

Sistas, whatever your feminist-minded babyboomer mothers have taught you, it's obviously not working.

  • you are very educated and know what you are talking about

  • What a great commentary! You have a great head on your shoulders. I'm a black woman born and raised in Los Angeles. But the same applies here. I believe exactly what you said. Best of luck in life and love. I

  • Here's your test. Can you marry a man that has no job? If a man lacks anything, can you comprimise and work with him to build him up? If he isn't perfect does he have a chance? No one is perfect, no one has all the cash or answers. Man and woman alike need each other to become the complete package. Weakness are exchanged for strengths etc. Money is easy to get, as much as you want. Love, honesty, Romance, Trust, Honor, devotion, support, passion, integreity, and character, that's hard to find!!!

  • I honor, love, respect, and cherish my black atlanta woman. i can give her all of me, and anything else she wants, because she never tried to pry into what i have or don't have. She is beyond wonderful, Queen of our Castle. 2nd in command of my heart, after GOD of course. I wouldn't trade her for the world.

  • I don't know who you are, but your info is insanely great. I just so happen to marry a wonderful women, who actually loves me for me. She checked out my character, my style, my beliefe inGOD, my desire for greatness in GOD, and the inner and outter me. She asked about my education, and though i had a few degrees she actually helped me get back inschool to get another. I proposed, she accepted, no terms for money, or materialistic crap.

  • Jesus Christ you go deep if all women act like that o man it would be a great world. I dont were a any ring or Rolex and I dont even have a car. I make $4000 amonth.. But no ladys come to me so i am thinking of buying myself a car.. Just for the ladys.. So what type of car should i buy?

  • Lol.. Boo do NOT buy a car to attract a "lady" or you will lose every time and attract the wrong kind of woman. Just get a car that fits your budget and learn how to identify a wife not a gold digger who wants to be taken care of.

    SYDD

  • Ladies once you go Mexican you never go black.

  • @j72042b,

Once you go Boricua, then you would be saying to the others "See ya!"... not "Once you go Mexican you never go Black" LOL

  • LOL! I hate to say that I laughed, but I did! (Maybe because I'd never heard it before... haha!!)

  • When I was asked about my employment and car, I would say I pick up dog crap in parks for Dekalb county and own a monthly Marta card. Great vid. 5*.

  • I'd tell them I'm working as a security guard. They run off so easily, unfortunately.

You'd think that from the breadth of our conversations and the proper diction with which I pronounce my words you would think that the sistas would see through that.

  • you know, you'd think they would. but i guess decent grammar and diction isnt a good enough starting point for some of these women...

  • yea tell those atl black chicks that they're not good gold diggers like white women are. they need to consult with them and take notes. black women need to focus on a man's moral character and not his bank account and net worth

  • I can't believe you have to tell women this. lol... don't they KNOW it? Thats so sad. But yeh ... you are right of course. Just surprised this is actually how it is out there.

  • That was very well put sister. * * * * *

  • 95% of black women are crazy all over the country. That feminist crap got ya'll minds warped! Gimmie Gimmie that's all they know.

  • Wow thats funny! Have you met 95% of all black woman? If so congrats to you. If not, you comment seems even more ignorant. The feminist movement didnt start with Black women...remember, we couldnt even vote?!!!

    SYDD

  • 5 stars just 4 the smile alone...

  • u make excellent videos .imissed this one

  • I am 20 I thought this was a great video!!!! Who bursts out and ask questions like that?

  • Nice video. Asking a man if how much money he makes and what kind of car he drives immediately ends any chance of a relationship growing. If you put too much of an emphasis on his income he'll believe that you lack interest in the other aspects of him;( personality, feelings, beliefs).

  • Those are always the first questions I'm asked at a social; it's definitely a turnoff b/c my job or car doesn't define who I am; plus it's rude and impersonal.

Also if you're a clean, "Obama" looking brother, you're automatically DL LOL ! Really they say that to make themselves feel better.

Most social clubs in Atlanta have 80%> anti-social females there, And they go through extra lengths to beautify themselves. Summary: Fake diva's who fck losers and complain. Crazy

  • Tell it sista. Too many women now a days are so concerned about material objects, that they forget about what really matters, the real happiness. I love your videos!!!

  • your my no1 i will miss you

  • Atl women seem crazy b/c being abused make you crazy. Putting your heart n2 a situation before your head is unwise. Men hold their emotions but we give into ours quickly. I believe there's nothing wrong with asking about his job b/c it shows his drive. How much he makes is irrelevant and so is what he drives, or his bank acct. I see women working while men lay up or play Playstation. Bad decisions and lack of role models affect kids, who can grow up to have lil respect for weak-crazy women.

  • Who said men hold their emotions in? I can speak 4 many men when I say, we usually only do that until we r fed up with dealing with the same simple-minded mess over and over. Too many girls are in women's bodies. Most black women I know & encounter have never grown up. Having a child, having sex, buying a car, renting an apartment, owning a home, cursing, being loud, wearing heels & tight clothes ; none of these things make you an adult. Right on DashRunnin'

  • THANK YOU! My motto has always been that I don't want anyone to do for me what I cannot do for myself! As long as we can work on things TOGETHER I'm blessed (and yes I'm ok if I make more than him...) I get to exhausted just thinking about all the shallow and money hungry people out here (and yes I do mean men as well... I have stories yall, lol) WAKE UP FOLKS!

  • One more thing ATL women stop bying these hair products please stop it..

  • Beatiful comments. A real sister who won't bring a man down because he is not a atm. A sister who has substance. It's a beatiful thang.

  • Some of the women In ATL have issues. I didn't know that until me and my brothers brought our mother a house In Morrow, Ga. I didn't stay there that long because I had just came out the army, and I was about college at University of Oregon. Right now I'm in Brazil taking Portuguese for a year. Money isn't everything believe me. I know brothers that would give the money they made from Iraq just to get their legs and arms back.

  • Some of the women In ATL have issues. I didn't know that until me and my brothers brougaction_comment=Post Comment

  • Black women are watching these videos as well and think that that is how they have to be to be considered desirable by a man. Its not the case. We like yal, we love yal, but you are not ready. So I ask, what are we supposed to do but move on?

  • After clicking on that video, look in the related video section again and see how may more beautiful black women are parading around showing their bodies. (In my experience) Many of these behaviors are learned and or passed down as well. I have seen case after case of really good men that wanted to settle down but the women were so brainwashed by other women i.e. friends and women in their family on the topic that men are no good that they already cause a relationship to fail before it starts

  • Being an adult stems from things like being able to take a look at oneself, admit wrongs, change wrongs, admit to faults and be accountable for oneself and be able to push things aside and grow into someone who can care for and respect themselves and others. Take a look at the related videos section of this video and the very first video is a chick shakin her body for everyone to see. What serious brotha that wants to raise a family properly would desire a woman like that? None.

  • Haha. I will not say all, because generalization is not good. But I will say a Whooole lot of black women are crazy. Dezell2007 makes a great point lol. I have seen many cases like that and have experienced it once myself. Besides his point, I find that all of the black women that I have dated behave like little girls. Sure they wear their heels and dress to the nines, but that does not make you an adult. Neither does having your own place, having children or being loud-mouthed etc...

  • Great video... but will the hard-headed black women listen? HELL NO. This knowledge will go in one ear out the other. Why? JOB 39:17

  • Black women need to humble themself if they want a brother thats sucessful in life.

  • Well i am a brotha that will lay it straight. What about the women that has a good man and they go out and cheat and fuck up. But when we leave they are stalking and harrassing folks. I don't hear women talk about that.

  • If you're a woman who fall for "flossy tricks" then you deserve what you get; you must improve your knowledge of what a good man is and how a real man treats a lady.

We get back what we put out in the universe; change is coming ladies..don't get left too far behind.

  • That is a stupid fucking question.

  • lovein30days: My point is women are not crazy In Atlanta or America, you attacted my statement saying "bc they turned you down" and "she don't want you" I'm not talking about a she or they.I was talking about Weak minded women who date guys who call the women crazy and the accountability for both. I don't add to the why men do this and black men that, in america. Women on Youtube are complaining about find a good man but when "she don't want you" comes up, then don't complaint about men.

  • You know a question i want to know,

Why do we have group names for different skin colors?

  • I don't think that. Having visit Atlanta I have found that the sistas in the ATL are some of the most nicest and sexiest on the planet. If you say hello they speak back and they treat you right there. I live in Los Angeles and the sistas here in Hell A california are not like that you speak they say nothing many don't offer much of a balance either too influence by hollywood. They judge you from a paris hilton white mentality here in Los Angeles too hollywood.

  • Things are a two way street. Both should bring something to the table.

  • On they dont want no man with heart and integrity they want a man that beats on them and cheats on them.I might try an atlanta female im sick of the thug lovin females down here in houston.

  • mannnn this whole world is fucked up if you ask me 4 real

  • This is what i think, Women from the north who moved down to Atlanta corrupt the hometown bred women.... You don't get the true southern women who welcomes a man's hospitality anymore.

  • YOU SOUND DUMB........... I grew up in the north my whole life..and when men talk to me they swear I am from the south. I am respectful..SO dnt generalize all women from the north.. look at yourself and see why a man doesnt come right up to you.

  • I understand a woman needing a man who can provide and offer security, thats the way it should be. But thats were planning comes in, live off the higher income for two years and save the lower, end up with 30+ grand in the bank. Budget and reduce expenses (cook, check movies from library instead of blockbluster etc.) Stop trying to "put on fo yo city" and live like you have some sense. Anyway thats my two cents

  • Men have so much choice they can't choose and women have to out do the next woman. Women end up fighting over some womanizer, and I cant even explain the ones who fall for the bisexuals, how they cant see but EVERYONE else can I dont know. Most black women were never shown what a real MAN is, except for on TV, which is why they will fall for a grown ass man with sagging pants. Most men learn manhood from off TV to that why they all want to be players pimps and gangsters. Turn off that damned TV!

  • It seems like atlanta women do not want a educated, heterosexual, hard working, great loving, black man. I have two jobs that don't pay, a B.A. in Psych, and a good heart. Iv'e started to look for less attractive women, in hopes I would find a GOOD woman. I get passed up for flashy dudes that have 10 lovers, or some Luis V wearing UCB (under cover brother). I don't think this is the city for me, a city where the proportions are more even might be better, cause this is frustrating!

  • that is not everyone though. In my relationship I am the educated one with the high paying job. I never let the man feel like he was beneath me. I just want him to support me and hope that the feelings were mutual. I am attractive but it seems some men find that intimidating. I got passed up for a female living in the pojects collect assistance never inspired to do anything else. the guy i was with said I did too much. He didnt like that. .

  • Diva,

He did you a favor. You did not lose him bc you were educated and expected the best, HE lost you because he is a loser and needed another loser to feel compatible with. Hold out for you right partner and he will come. Girl, I know I have taught you better...lol:)

    SYDD

  • It's not that you got passed up, it's just that some women with a weak mind set are easier to control thru mind manipulation. You have a strong mind and for weak minded men, that is more like a MOTHER feeling to some. Mothers of these guys are seen as strong so all men won't date their mothers. I've been in Atlanta for 4 years and the women that I know loves the thug, rapper athlete man when there are guys who work hard but is not loved or respected. It's unfair but it's what it is.

  • DarqMassacre, What females have you met want thugs? Where are you meeting these females? How do you know they want thugs? Is it bc they turned you down? I have lived in Atlanta for 9 years and MANY of us good and intelligent women can not stand a thug. That comment from men is so irritating. Nothing personal, but really...when men know nothing about why they couldnt get the girl, they generalize it down to she just wants a thug which is not true. She just doesnt want you.

    SYDD

  • I get your point. I meet these women at the mall that I was supervisor at for 3 years ( Perimter Mall ) and the women that I talk to from time to time passing by. I don't generalize women because of my upbringing. I've seen women who think all is good with their man and on the flip side have seen their man with other women. So women are not crazy but where's the accountabilty at when choosing a man. To me a thug are men and women who dis-regards the law and other people's feelings.

  • no its true, i respect what your saying, but WOMEN DO WANT THUGS!!! its proven, im in cali and im a nice dude, im decent lookin or whatever, but all the girls stare at the thugs,so i really dont have pity for a women when they start crying about their men are cheating on them becuase most of the minority raced women want a thug, plain and simple

  • and im black by the way

  • If women in ATL are crazy the women in LA are insane!!!

I like the women from the south betta!

  • Sistah-Your Words Are Spoken Truth!!!

  • Oh yeah...my husband was living in Atlanta when we met. We had a long distance relationship for almost a year before he moved to Houston. I'm not sure why he didn't date Atlanta women. I guess I didn't care enough to ask. He's mine now!

  • When I met my husband years ago, he had an anointing on his life. He was a Christian believer and active at his church. He had a great personality, a given spirit and was very loyal. Those were the MOST important things to me. I believed we could build material wealth together. So even if had he had nothing material wise (which wasn't the case), I was willing to build a life with him because he had the most important attributes and qualities.

  • men call new york women crazy too!

  • I am from NY and I am far from crazy.

  • How about you stop looking for thugs maybe that might be the problem? LOL women & their poor choices!

  • Although I vehemently disagree with some of your videos, the advice you give to women in this one is right on the money. Too many women- especially Black women- these days look for what a man HAS instead of who that man IS. The more they do that, the more they will be left signle an alone, because sensible men of quality want to settle down with equally sensible women.

Women need to reorganize their priorities in such a way that would make them more quality wife material.

  • Crazy black women in the atl are the bomb.

Black women in Jax Fl also are the bomb too And the black women in Houston Tx and Dallas my God they are hella sexy. I love sistas from the south though those southern women are hot.

  • I agree with your analogy and it hit's right on but women don't follow their own advice so the trick is to follow the advice you seek to give and that determine your success with a man!

  • WOW! Critical thinking is awesome! Women must also get over their EX!

  • atl off the chain...dade county yall

  • They're not crazy, they're gold diggers. If you have a regular job as a cop or an electrician, women almost laugh at that. They all think they're Beyonce lookin for their Jay-Z rap mogul to come along and put em in Versace for life. Fact is, there's too many players in both genders lookin for the wrong things.

As snitty as white women can be, a black woman who has it KNOWS it and thinks she has even a little more than she really does. Give me a good woman and leave the divas to the pimps.

  • I heard there was a lot of arrogance in Atlanta (Emory). This urbanization life comes with many personalities. Why are there so many african americans that want to live in Atlanta, Georgia. I knew several class mates that always kept promoting that place. To me, Atlanta seems more like a place for a vacation (to have fun). That might explain why ppl might be wilder. Atlanta reminds me of Baton Rouge, LA.

  • I would not know. I heard ATL got women for days though. I want to go.

  • Now what you're saying sounds really good, but I know better. You may reach a few women but it aint enough. Personally I hold men responible. Dont be fooled, we black men are very intelligent. The majority of us, use our heads for ALL the wrong reasons. To a certain point men and women are to blame. If men would stop going for the women he can get the pussy from quicker, and go for a women with a little sense, then women would stop ho hopping and become more "aware". Get it?

  • hhhhmmm..

  • Profoundly and humbly articulated! But the crux of the problem of the Black woman in general and the Black woman in the Atlanta in particular is they watch and read TOO MUCH FOOLISHNESS, CONVENTIONAL RELIGION and A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF SELF!!!

  • Very well put. Very good advice. Hopefully they will listen to you.

  • Kanye said it better, But when im on the come up like going to to school in atlanta, and riding the bus some black women give me a hard time here. But i feel im not a bad looking brotha ladies go to my page and judge, Anyway Some of my lady friends i wish they would listen to me when i tell them these cats are up to know good. I know most cant appreciate my brutal honesty but the truth can hurt sometimes. I got your five lol.
