@Jagethemage there is no replacement for displacement. you can get alot more power out of a 700 than u can say a 250. the more air/ fuel u can get into the cylender the more power your going to make because you are going to have a stronger detonation. therefore a 700 having more space for an air/fuel mixture is going to have more power, or more potential power.

You can hear in the background that one of them is being run at a lower rpm range than the other, wich could mean that one rider is riding below the 2 stroke powerband.. if thats the case, its an unfair race

@MegaMotorsports actually when you look at cc for engine with multiple cylinders the cc's are added up from all. One banshee cylinder is 175cc since its a twin it adds up to a 350cc.

So even if the 250r is 50hp and the banshee is 80hp the 250r is probably 50 to 70 pounds lighter so that equals it out. So just because it has more cc doesnt mean anything.

My 85 ATC R is 50lbs lighter then both these machines and has more power then the trx 250r. why they stopped making these much faster machines will always bug me. yes there harder to ride and demand your attention but nothing is more rewarding then beating any new quad on my 26 yr old monster!

Two totally different machines designed for two totally different environments. The Banshee is a pure straight line dune runner and the 250r was the undisputed motocross champ for many many years. To compare them solely based on a drag race is retarded. They are both great machines and will outperform the other when used as intended.

Everyone went nuts for the yahahammer banshee when they came out. I just kept riding my good ole honda 250r 3 wheeler, and out running most of them. Honda 250r atc was just hard to beat. The tecate250 was close to equal. The yahmahammer 250atc was just shit.

I have a 03 banshee but remember the good ole days riding my 250r but I can't remember if the 250 was more fun to ride. I thought the 250r had better suspension but it was so long ago. I also remember the 250r able to wheelie better in the dirt.
Banshee is my Bike always has been always will be. I have had my 1996 banshee since she was new lots of ridin and lots of work put into it. But if I would have to chose another bike I would go with 250r even though its against my better judgement I dispize Hondas but for the 250r i will make an exception because until 2006 when the 700s came out it was the only competition the banshee had

My 85 ATC R is 50lbs lighter then both these machines and has more power then the trx 250r. why they stopped making these much faster machines will always bug me. yes there harder to ride and demand your attention but nothing is more rewarding then beating any new quad on my 26 yr old monster!

i have the little brother of this quads, a 06 Yamaha Blaster and i love it. People thinks that a 200cc can beat anything but when they race me with 350 raptors, 300ex they cant believe who wins ;D.

Two totally different machines designed for two totally different environments. The Banshee is a pure straight line dune runner and the 250r was the undisputed motocross champ for many many years. To compare them solely based on a drag race is retarded. They are both great machines and will outperform the other when used as intended.

Everyone went nuts for the yahahammer banshee when they came out. I just kept riding my good ole honda 250r 3 wheeler, and out running most of them. Honda 250r atc was just hard to beat. The tecate250 was close to equal. The yahmahammer 250atc was just shit.

I have a 03 banshee but remember the good ole days riding my 250r but I can't remember if the 250 was more fun to ride. I thought the 250r had better suspension but it was so long ago. I also remember the 250r able to wheelie better in the dirt.

Banshee is my Bike always has been always will be. I have had my 1996 banshee since she was new lots of ridin and lots of work put into it. But if I would have to chose another bike I would go with 250r even though its against my better judgement I dispize Hondas but for the 250r i will make an exception because until 2006 when the 700s came out it was the only competition the banshee had
