Sorry, but olive oil just doesn't work with Indian food. Try groundnut oil.... I respect Oliver, but this isn't quite authentic.

No offence to my favt cook Jamie but this is not an authentic Indian curry. He did not put tomatoes which is once of the main essence..Also ,you would never find chapatis seasoned with oil and turmeric .. But anyway , nice try..

@londonerhic olive oil (good quality olive oil) is actually better for you than the canola or vegetable oil.
