Tony Rosato from SCTV, you know he went kind of nuts? Pretty much had a melt down and spent four years (two in police custody) followed by confinement in a psychiatric hospital as part of his probation. He seems better today...........
@Retrontario - He had Capgrass Syndrome, in which the person is convinced that their family & friends have been replaced by lookalike impostors. This caused him to behave threateningly to his wife, & he got arrested. He then spent YEARS in pre-trial custody, dismissing lawyers (due to his illness), and refusing to consent to treatment. His was the worst example of the failure of the legal & health systems. He needed psychiatric care, not jail. It took a series in the Toronto Star to rescue him.
