lol. i just blockt . you cant make a partition IF YOU HAVE ONLY ONE DISk you cant make a partition while the disk is in use ......i have windows xp. on windows Vista you can . ON LOL. but vista have a lot of errors VISTA SUCKS!

you ope drive, you put the cd in, press restart, and it will take the disk in. Then do the setup, and it will ask you where you want to install.

my harddrive does show allocated, it's something else...so when I right click it doesnt show tht option

I think u have to convert ur harde drive to dynamic disk en u start repatition!!!

but u have to know if you do that you not be able to start other installed operating from any volume on this disk.

@6395544 If you stiil don't know that, Partition manager wizard would do that, , MiniTool partition manager wizard is a good choice for you. It is easy to use and it is efficient. Saved my partitions with this tool!!
