In CoD and CSS, you need to use all your senses, you need to use your hearing, you need to think and concentrate very hard, or your dead.

It matters on your skill, your reaction time,. They are both amazing games and I wont give one a put down, they are made differently for different types of skill being involved.

Are you kidding me? I've been called a wallhacker on multiple occasions because of my headset.

I can hear footsteps around corners, I can hear people sneaking up on me...etc...

If you'll notice something, just watch a competition match (an actual one, like at QuakeCon) you'll see that EVERYONE wears a headset, simply because sound can be a HUGE factor. Trust me, my headset has saved my ass on more than one occasion.
