Mike's voice is so mesmerizing... he has a really unique, slightly throaty voice that can make higher notes sound lower. He can effortlessly reach high notes and make them sound not forced and smooth and natural. I envy his voice!!

I am a big straight no chaser fan.... and i completely deteste madonna. This is 1 of her better songs, but at the same time is completely been over played over the years.

Watching this video though has completely trasnformed the song for me. Just simply mesmeric to watch.Tone and Pitch spot on along with timing. The backing melody is sweet and touching. The arrangement is beautiful! Some killer bass in there too! Amazing

One of their best cover songs! Absolutely amazing, perfect pitch, great timing, and the lead singer’s voice? a-MA-zing! This actually gave me chills, so mesmerizing, haunting, chilling, & moving. It put a smile on my face, made me think of the Madonna version but put it into a completely different context. And I loved the slight nod to the original with the choir in the background. Just stellar!!

Madonna's version is amazing,Haunting&probably 1 of her best pieces of work but Straight No Chaser is right up there with her version.I am blown away by it.I remember in 1989 when i was just 16& i heard madonna's song "Like a prayer" come out of my stereo i sat there in amazment. I was so used 2 her pop songs that i just found her voice 2 B brilliant &the words amazing so much that when i grad H.S my yr book qoute was"life is a mystery,Everyone must stand alone&this version is just as brilliant
