kingscrusher, there's a chessbase article on the London Classic Open tournament, and you appear to be in the background, wearing a red shirt, of a photo of Mark Hebden :P
If you play lower ranked players, then you have everything to lose and little to gain if you win. By getting draws and odd wins against masters, you gain points- as you did in the british champs.
Yes it is good to have the chance to take out higher rated players. Due to the accelerated pairing used at Gibraltar, and not starting off too well, I only played one titled play there. Compared to 7 (!) in the London Classic.
Hope that KC attains AT LEAST the FM title soon. Perhaps KC does not play in enough FIDE tournaments and does not gain enough practice in such tournaments.

So what is the qualifications for an FM title. Because I think you very well deserve one KC.
Did you not play enough tournaments, or was your rating not high enough? I guess I could Wiki it, and see what it takes to become an FM.
Still I don't see how you aren't an FM, you beat FM's and IM's on a consistant basis.
If they took into account all the people you've gotten interested in Chess by your you tube videos, you'd be a Grand Master, imo.
Cheers KC!!!

-2.13 times 10, that should be fairly easy to calculate. ;-) Good luck in tournaments next year!
