So I loved Sui Lu on floor, but she should have like a ring leap or something at 06:24 I like this music a lot and the small move she did there was kind of anti-climactic.

I love Sabrina and Anna you can see their passion for gymnastics through the routines, if they get more confident they're both capable of miracles.

I also loves Anna's and Victoria's sheep jumps, when the feet actually touched, or almost touched their head.

And Beth's routines are always breath taking, in 2012, in her last olympics, in her hometown I want to see her on the top of the podium

and I'm so excited about Catalina's comeback, I'm sure she'll perfect her form for 2012

Tim annoys me..during Demy's routine he said she kept wobbling and doubting herself (which she was) but he compared her to Aly but Aly had some wobbles and missed connectiona -__-

@GymnasticsFan1144 You're right, but I think he was referring more to the two gymnasts' approaches in their routines. Aly is much more aggressive in her work whereas Anna is much more tentative. Yes, both had some issues but Anna's mistakes seem to come from self-doubt and Aly doesn't seem to have that problem.

@bernardmvella Yeah, but it was still a weak event for her. Most All-Around gymnasts have a weak event. Aly is a "true all-arounder" If she wasn't she would not be ranked fourth in the world (with a mistake) as of right now.

I think she meant if Aly needed to do any rotation in a pinch, she could. Obviously, Aly isn't best on bars. That is her weakness but if she needed to fill in, she could and she would hit. Aly handles the pressure really well.

@BravesGurl1983 She's fallen off her mediocre set of bars two years in a row in the AA... I don't think you have to have super high level gymnastics to be a true all arounder, I think you need to have a reasonably equal skill across all apparatus. Raisman has 3 stellar events and one terrible one, which to me does not fit with the fundamental definition or 'True All-Arounder'.

is the double pike for a beam dismount a requirment or something? Because that's what i've seen most gymnasts do, and on the floor as well.

@coconutmilkshakeXD no its not required but does fulfill the difficulty rating that a dismount needs to not incur a deduction. they can also use it as a counted element to up the D score

@coconutmilkshakeXD Yeah, and additionally I think they choose a double pike over other D-rated dismounts for floor because it's easier to stick than a 2.5 twist and to maintain the form compared to a double tuck. I think it's chosen for beam often because it has an E rating, so gymnasts who would traditionally use a double tuck (which is rated as a D) can upgrade their difficulty while using a very similar style of dismount.
