Hunting is about the good of the herd, not just one deer. Yes, White Tails are beautiful animals and to ensure that they have good health and plenty to eat, some need to be killed. If you can get people to not drive in the country, quit farming and not build any new homes, then they could flourish but that isn't going to happen. Don't let ideals get in the way of doing the right thing, no matter how ugly you think it is.
@Dondarasan I never said hunting or culling the herd was ugly. I myself am a hunter trapper and fisherman. I understand that wildlands have a holding capacity and the herds especially in my state N.J. that the population is out of control. Sadly in my county it is illegal to release a projectile of any kind arrow slug or bullet. The close proximity of the homes to 1 another make it unsafe in the eyes of the municipality. I would love to have the 10 pointer in my vid on the wall. Thnx 4 comment.
@callhunter34 what??? deer eat grass how are they taking our food, and what if a deer said "oh no i don't have any food, lets shoot and eat humans" that would not be so pretty.
@keeliey1 Hurt them, NO, hunt them, yes. Hunting is not about hurting, them, it's about being part of nature like we used to be long ago, before we got away from it. Just like mountain lions, it is natural to hunt deer, as a native American, it is also a tradition.
