Is it possible to ever be able to do the flame whip again once you pick up a subweapon?

because as far as I know there is now way to completely get rid of a subweapon. You can only trade it with another one.

Kinda annoying because the flame whip power up is kinda cool.

@poster12345678 Indeed you cannot get rit of a sub-weapon and wont be able to use flame whip once you get any sub-weapon.

But flame whip, on some versions is kinda useless. It don't raise Richter's attack. It just add Fire damage to the whip.
