thats probablt bcuz u need the usb charger for psp. not the regular one. and i think ur psp needs to have a little charge to start...so i can connect to pc...

he just wants to prove that he can make his own usb power cables and waste time except if you only have one usb on your pc(if this is true your computer is extremely old buy a new one)

Somsof62 i can use the USB chargers for my ipod to charge my psp they all work except one which is made only for the ipod and wont charge anything else i have that cable for the psp that has a standard usb plug on one end and a psp charger plug and another usb the really common type plugs you see on everything usb the type mini B plug, its great for syncing and charging
