Thank you so much for your wonderful work, soon my pc will be upgraded and I can keep up with your videos and stay in touch more often, I'm using mum's pc at the moment but just wanted to thank you for doing such amazing work to save so many and for giving these dogs safe haven unti they hopefully find a forever home.
In the U.S. we kill 27,473 shelter animals every day. And as we kill them, so, too, are 70,000 born EACH day.
Mandatory sterilization laws will help to end this needless death, but breeders profiting from selling animals are the strongest opponents of such laws.
We can only stop killing animals if we stop breeding more of them.
It is always nice to see a no kill shelter. It's so unfortunate that some of these beautiful dogs may never find loving homes. A tragedy indeed. Thanks for all the hard work that goes into saving these sentient beings. You are true heros.
What a great day for the lucky dogs that were rescued! Andy and Gail, I see you've been busy! Good work, both of you. I hope you continue to fight for those sweet dogs against the cruelty that is so common in Spain. Hopefully the country will wake up and realize its shame, and do something about it, because of people like you. Good luck!
Obviously, these people care a great deal and are doing a fantastic job. Every country has its share of animal abuse, but Spain has a long way to go before they can be considered a humane country. There are the galgos, bullfighting and not long ago the beach chimps. These were infant chimps brought to the beaches of Spain to entertain tourists for money. When they became too strong to control their throats were cut, they were drowned or thrown off of cliffs. At least that was abolished.
How difficult it must have been to film this, to be there, to want to take them all home... Thank you Andrew and Gail for all that you do! It was great to see gentle little Ebony, one of the lucky ones, ready to go home to our friend. Noah's Arc is a great rescue center, I will help in any way that I can and encourage everyone to do the same. Now that I have my precious greyhound, it breaks my heart even more to know the potential for loving that all these homeless galgos have, deep inside...
