What? You don't need to "train your dogs so they don't hurt your children"! I was raised with dogs since I was born, my first word was dog, for god's sake. Plus i never had a dog with breed. Mine were always strays that I would found in the street. And all they did since I as a little baby was protect me. People need to understand dogs don't hurt people because they want to, they either were trained to be violent or either thought that that people would hurt us...

@platelegs well I do agree with you, but not 100%, I do believe it's horrible killing all these animals for our sake, that's why i'm veg. But dogs are domestic animals so they are supposed to be in our houses while we give them love, food and shelter, not in a farm. And as sad as it sounds, people do make experiences for products with dogs too, and some people even eat them in some places...Disgusting.
I don't think the dog would KILL the baby I just think . Infant = Very Vulnerable and Fragile. Even a playful act could be somewhat dangerous. I for one would not let my child lie on the floor with the dog or let the dog lick it in the face at this age. I do think that is irresponsible. Socializing is fine but there is a fine line.

The dog is not going to harm the baby!! Only if the parents of the child/owner of the dog starts freaking out, will the dog sense a problem. In fact, that dog will probably be very protective of that child. You can tell that the dog is already bonding with the baby and loves the baby very much.

They evolved for millions of years to gain social acceptance, in the wild if they were rejected by the group then they would simply die, the husky knows whoever is holding the camera is the pack leader and the baby is part of the pack, the chances of it doing anything bad are 0. I'd be more concerned about humans being around the baby.

This kid is in for a treat. I grew up with a husky and have great memories. I remember her pulling me up hills, just so she ran side by side with me as I sled back down. They are terrific with kids as well. My mom told me a story once, I fell down the stairs and into her stomach as she slept (probably saving me a concussion). She was all startled and woke up growling fiercely looking around, however when she saw it was me she calmed down right away, slowly let me down off her, and went to sleep.

Well it looks cute but ehm I think the husky is indeed crying cuz of the baby, but the baby's cry is kinda loud and dogs hear much better and much louder than we do, so I guess the dog is crying cuz the noise is way to loud.

Either that dog wasn't trained well (or at all), or assocciated a negative event in it's life with the new born baby and was jealous. And if you train a dog how to be 'angry' correctly the dog while 9 times out of 10 not cause harm to anyone purposly. I grew up with a husky, it protected me, because it was trained correctly.

Most of them all say the same thing, their dog would never hurt a fly, till all of a sudden is snaps and kills a child/person. @CreationsEpic No. In fact its good for babies. At this age the babies head is still soft and keeping it on its back won't allow for it to shape evenly. Babies on the tummy gives the back of the head a brake

to everyone who thinks this is a bad idea, when I was a baby my parents had a great dane, YES A GREAT DANE. the great dane protected me when my grandparents came to visit and didnt even bite me. THe great dane is like the second largest dog in the world. I am perfectly fine. my parents told me about the great dane protecting me

Not a good idea. A friend's young child went to pet the family's sleeping dog. The dog was evidently dreaming and took a swipe at the child's face and left his face scarred. It could have been worse.
