  • She should never had left Theatre Of Tragedy. Members were never the same, apart.

TOT ended meanwhile, and after that she made only worthless empty work, trying to reach the unreacheable, compared what they did together back then, its nothing. Such dismembering, not only is hard within the band but sorrowed by all the fans they teared apart.

Only remains Theatre of Tragedy, Velvet Darkness They Fear, A rose for the dead and Aégis.

  • @HARDRlC She didn't leave ToT. She was fired and she only learnt about it through the band's website.

  • So, in terms of style and talent, Leaves' Eyes keeps improving with every album, but I really can't get over the fact that they've pretty much tossed out the viking theme for a celtic/pagan/olde english theme, which is already done to death by every other folk metal band with a female vocalist. I won't stop listening to them, but one of the biggest reasons I liked them was because they were a viking/Nordic band with a female lead, so Njord will remain my favourite album by them.

  • @Littiy i think that this album was a really big step for them musically. As far as theme, that's more a matter of personal preference, and I don't think they've gone away from the viking theme completely, it may not be as prominent, but it's still there.

  • is thi ll the same singer ???

    great voice ♥

  • @GodessOfDarkLight Yes still the same singer

  • Fantastic <3

  • Don't matter what language it is in. She has a beautiful voice in any language. Appreciate the sound of her amazing voice.

  • So happy Liv wrote an album with lyrics in Old English. It's the most beautiful language in the world, gives me chills.

  • I was looking for a new band to listen and... I have finally found one

they are great and this picture... it looks awesome

  • The begging was awesome, but then the song got ridiculous. No like,

  • where the hell did the epic reaction go? 0_o

  • La voz que empieza en el 1:04 no es la de Liv...de quien es? Alguien sabe? Le da un aire a la De Tarja Turunen (pero mas linda!) :)

  • Awesome song yo. Thanks for presenting it.

  • @girfactor You're welcome.

  • Thanks for almost 22 000 viewers :-)

  • @MTXCrazy Almost 40,000 :-)

  • Dang. I'm going to die wishing I had been a female singer in a metal band

    ):

  • @escapist11 Story of my life my friend.

  • the guitar is fantastic!

  • 哦呀!

  • I didn't really like Leaves Eyes when I first heard them, but after listening to New Found Land I'm starting to get into them. An acquired taste

  • Hauntingly beautiful!

  • what a beautyfu voice i like liv for ever

  • So... This album comes in English, right?

  • @meru2012 Why should it come in English. Let the emotions flow over you in any language.

  • @MrLucassen i couldn't agree with you more. But music hasn't a language made of words... but beats of sounds... so noway everyone will be feeling the same thing in a different language when they listening to the beats of this song or any other song...^^

  • @wickedcircle I agree. But that doesn't mean it HAS to be in English like meru2012 suggested. Imagine Rammstein in English. that wouldn't work at all.

  • I love this song:)

  • wow

  • even if leaves eyes is a great band i would like if theatre of tragedy would make a reunion togehter with liv and nell as two singers that would be wonderful

  • wtf are you talking about???there are no Old English here.there are only Norwegian and English!

  • @nazouanta wtf are You talking about morelike. i think you will find that there are two tracks in old english on this cd you twit meredead and sorhleod.

Now you may ask, why sing in Old-English? Since my Old-English studies I’ve taken great interest in both Old-English poetry and grammar. I just felt that this song required Old-English lyrics, and an Old-English “sound”, moreover, it needed this historical feel! you will find more that took this from on the official site.

  • @nazouanta It's mostly Old English and a little bit of modern day English. What you think is Norwegian is actually Old English, look it up.

  • the girl singing on this track leaves christine and the other is called maite itoiz, is a Spanish singer (John Kelly & Maite Itoiz)

  • COOL!

  • this song is awesome! :p

  • 1:05 thru 1:18 sounds alot like Tarja.

  • @arthurjskidington this person sings better though, in my opinion

tarja's great but i dont like her voice thatttt much

  • Old English!!! That's wonderful!! I'm adoring it <3

  • the song sorhleod is in old English too.

  • @mostlyanthony Thank you ! =)

  • Who's singing with Liv ??

  • This is too gorgeous! So much!

  • What is it said on lyrics? I cant understanding a thing. :/

  • @Airsck search Google for "Eow frithes healdan" and click "Leaves' Eyes – 'Meredead' sample and own words by Liv Kristine," it has the mostly Old English lyrics and a translation :)
