boy!!this song brings back fond memories.i remember when i was kid living in jackson county,olustee,oklahoma and going to some friends house and we would listen to that old tube-type philco radio and eating fried chicken,gravy and those big cat head bisquits and after that big meal,there would be home made icecream on the side!but,we would always leave enough time in the day to do our quail hunting.(the smaller town was called creta).

The only thing greater than this is somehow Apollo 13. If they called it Apollo 14 maybe they would have gone lost. But they knew already that the moon lays full of dust. You see how importent it was for them. I hope one day a European space ship goes there. Just to walk a bit in the dust. And to put there also a flag. It was a big disappointment for mankind. There were not 7 Kitty Wells. Nor gold.

this version is a remake not the 1967 original. She sang and as long as I live with Red Foley one in the 50's and one in the 60's. There are different versions of one by one. I have about three or four versions of each of these songs. Roy Drusky sang One by One with Pricilla Mitchell (Jerry Reeds wife).

This was recorded after Red Foley had died. This is definitely Roy Drusky. Kitty and Red had some great duets, but this particular recording is not one of them.

Hello Miss Marie! I have commented on this one before, but I just wanted you to know that I return often and listen to it. I just love it! I am old enough to remember when all the country radio stations here in the USA were playing Kitty and Red Foley doing this duet. It was a HUGE record for them, along with "One By One", "You And Me" and others. But I honestly like this later version with Kitty and Roy Drusky best. Thanks again for a beautiful video Marie!
