  • I would hope that most searches including the word "tickets" would meet te QDF criteria ... I just did a ticket search that returned results for shows that closed 11 years ago ;-)

  • I imagine what he means is that rather than always give priority to longstanding, aged content, there are some types of queries (searches) that are far more likely to be for current, up to date news. For example, a query for "Lindsay Lohan gossip" is likely to deserve freshness. Where most of the time the older and more established the content the better, QDF explains the exceptions.

  • I, like the others, didn't have a clue what Matt is talking about here. A quick search found this "Query Deserves Freshness" explanation here: blogstorm[DOT]co[DOT]uk/using-google-query-deserves-freshness-model/

  • Somehow I think I'd have to have read the New York Times article to know what he's talking about.

What does he mean by "Freshness"?

  • What is this talking about?

  • Query? I know that my just saying this word again doesn't help anything but I feel better now that I asked it.

  • What query?!?

  • Isn't this Matt Cutts from Google? What he is talking about ?

    What query ??!

  • I didn't get this ?

    What query ?

  • QTQ ala (CTQ) bring it ;) See also Quality to Quantity haha love six sigma ha
