I was such an RVD fan back in the mid '90s in the original ECW. He, Sabu, Taz, The Pitbulls, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, and The Dudley Boys offered original, high impact, insane wrestling instead of what the WWE offers (which is 90 minutes of talking during a 2 hour show and 2-3 matches where only one ends in an actual finish). The smarter guys get out of the business before they become an RVD or Scott Hall. If you have a couple hundred grand, go buy a chain of restaraunts or something.

Besides, RVD takes yoga and stretches a whole lot so it's much easier for him compared to some other people his age and older.
RVD was phenomenal in ECW, pretty good in WWE (I actually felt he was held back athletically) but I think it's time for him to reinvent himself exactly like Scott Steiner did. Steiner's finishing move was The Frankinsteiner (hurricanrana) almost 20 years ago but he realised he could potentially brain people because he didn't have the ability to leap in the air like he used to. RVD should be allowed to be the whole f'in show but in a different direction he can cope with.
I worked an event in NY where he faced Bully Ray and even the Kids in the crowd were saying how can Bully Ray move better than Him!? I think he needs a character change... take some time off

The only reason he went to TNA was for the money and lighter work schedule. He can't move as well as he used to because he's out of shape and he has no reason to change if they keep paying him the same either way. I'm almost 100% sure this comment is gonna get negative feedback, but I'm gonna say it anyway, I'm probably the only one who really miss the original TNA, when it was creative, fun to watch, and unpredictable, like the old matches with Angle vs. Joe, Jay Lethal, along with AJ Styles, those were the classics that make TNA unique, along with the 6-Sided ring. Totally, I loved the Black Machismo, it was like Savage was wrestling again. Whoever changed the 6 sided ring that made TNA unique like you said, and didn't make it look like a WWE wannabe, was an idiot. I don't find anything about TNA entertaining. I'm guessing that RVD (and most of the other wrestlers) feel the same way. After all, they're only with TNA because WWE doesn't want them, they're bitter towards WWE or they just Rhaven't gotten the call from WWE yet. That would explain why some guys may not be motivated. I don't know how RVD's matches have gone because I don't watch that crap.

I don't think RVD is that inspired,because of the competition.He's not going against other hi fliers.If he went against Sabu,Jerry Lynn,AJ Styles,Jeff Hardy (when he wants to wrestle) even Rey Misterio on a nightly basis I think RVD would raise his intensity.I've seen RVD do some amazing things,TNA never figured out how they could use him. Actually I don't think WWE really figured that out either.Why he didn't have an intense rivalry with Jeff Hardy back then,I'll never know

LOL) that was doing something different, but his time has past. Totally, I loved the Black Machismo, it was like Savage was wrestling again. Whoever changed the 6 sided ring that made TNA unique like you said, and didn't make it look like a WWE wannabe, was an idiot. It's a crime that so many people think that TNA has always been shit because they assume anything Hogan does is going to be better because it's Hulkamania and it's Runnin' Wild. I don't find anything about TNA entertaining. I'm guessing that RVD (and most of the other wrestlers) feel the same way. After all, they're only with TNA because WWE doesn't want them, they're bitter towards WWE or they just Rhaven't gotten the call from WWE yet. That would explain why some guys may not be motivated. I wouldn't say he don't care anymore, it's just he is getting older now so he is alot slower in his matches but he is still having good matches not the best or how he used to but still decent matches with the likes of Daniels and Lynn. I don't see him becoming World Champ again though probably a T.V. Title run and then retire next year or in a couple of years but during this time just putting guys over and having mini feuds.
