  • txccd I'm with you man, I'm about the same age my brother is two years younger. umm popcorn made in a kettle with butter.

  • I used to watch this show as a little boy in Cleveland, O in the 70's. I always looked forward to seeing it for some reason. I believe it came on channel 42: "channel 42 plays favorites".

  • yep the good old days left the door unlocked at mcdonalds and fell asleep dad would carry us to are room , could never make through the entire movie

  • Also notice the white socks and "flood pants."

  • It's a great shot and a properly tragic one, the loser guy trudging/stomping down the street with his ripped-out accordion half... ah, you had to grow up on Polka Varieties to understand.

  • These guys are David Stuchlak (moustach ) and Corky Barber (white accordion).

I went to the same accordion studio with them in Parma called Luty's Music...no foolin

  • They spelled 'accordions' wrong.

  • Love it! :)

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • As an accordion player who is currently working on an arrangement for two or more accordions (preferably minimum of 2 in the lead) I found this to be hilarious!!! At first wondering why an accomplished player would be using such an old,

tiny instrument, when he pulled it apart I burst out laughing - this was very well done!!!!! Great stuff!!!!

  • wuab channel 43 lorain and cleveland !

  • You must be thinking of Superhost!

  • in western ohio the only cleveland tv station we got was channel 43. maybe hoolihan and big chuck was relayed in some way or different tapes were shown other than what was being shown in cleveland at the same time. anyone know?

  • @nsa12345

Yeah, but Superhost was a Cleveland memory too. Miss him doing the winter weather reports, it is just too hot down in Georgia.

  • When Cleveland was'nt the shit hole it is now.

  • Love it. I'm 53, my brother and I would watch on Friday nights, drink RC cola and eat chips!! Good ol' days!! We lived on W 67th street, went to Watterson Elementary. What a blast!

  • @xytxccd

My grandmother lived on W. 7th street and my parents went to jefferson high!

  • WOW! Love those white socks! AHHHHH HAAAAA! Great stuff from Cleveland!

  • This is the best.

  • Great skit! H&BC really bumped up their production standards on that one.

  • Sinister. Gripping! Truly an epic saga. Thanks so much for having the courage to post this. Heh.

  • Oh man that's a total blast!

  • Fantastic! Great Vid!

  • Man, I had forgotten all about this one. What was the name of that street? Kolonowski? Wow, is this in Parma?

  • Klonowski - I think it's off of Fleet Ave. in Slavic Village in Cleveland.

  • yeah...you're right. The first shot is on the corner of Fleet and Klonowski. I might be wrong, but it looks like the "Jolly Tee Cafe" was on the corner of Aetna and E 76th street. Check it out on google maps. Of course it all looks a lot different now...vacant lots...missing trees, etc. How times change.

  • Klonowski Street, best street name ever.

  • @mrdandrea Yes, you're right and the bar they,re at was at Fleet ave. and Atena Rd. Sad thing is the bar is long gone so is the neighborhood.

  • thanks a lot. this is one of the greatest things ever.
