1) I like so many different bands from every extreme metal genre I could never put them all in one video. Stop attacking the 9 that I chose

2) My favorite bands at the time of this video are OBVIOUSLY different than they are now. Yours would be too.

3) I put in Suicide Silence because a few of their songs are pretty good; not many, but a few. I could care less if you don't like them.

4) Please get a life if you think I or anyone else cares about the genre of these bands.

All these songs have things in common I don`t like.

I don`t really like general Metal.

I nerly solely listen to Deathcore or Deathmetal.

And these need in my opinion:

Slamming guitars, brutal vocals and melting breakdowns.

And a "perfect" song has to have some different layers.

"Becoming The Archetype - Dichotomy"

come close to this.

Skinless is a great band. I was aware at the time that SS wasn't actually a metal band but I didn't really expect the negativity that I got after throwing them in there. Meh, times change. Glad I didn't get molested with insults :P.

You take YouTube videos way too seriously. But as you have actually made some valid points I'll give you the respect you've earned. Death (mainly Chuck Shuldiner) is probably the most influential Death metal act in the history of extreme metal; they're one of my personal favorites overall. I just didn't happen to throw them in here. As for Suicide Silence, I happen to enjoy their music, and seeing as it isn't law to keep bands of the same genre corresponding to the video title, I threw them in.

I wasn't a huge fan of Suicide Silence at first then I saw them live with Black Label Society and HOLY SHIT!!!!!! They blow my fucking mind they are amazing! They are 100 times better live which is really cool. Death is pretty sick too.

They're just a very melodic melodeath band. Everyone has different tastes. Obviously they aren't on the "heavy" end of the spectrum, but I think they're alright.

1. Mathcore is a genre which meshuggah exist in and was created from math rock which are pretty much the same thing, weird time signatures, precise cords etc.

2. Deathcore is part of metal, all cores are. they arn't a sub genre of rock :P.
