Tutorial #2 - Paths with the Pen Tool

After I have added the detail paths around the mouthguard (3:52) I cannot seem to get the parts that are supposed to 'cut out'. It has deleted the outline of the silhouette but seem to have missed the detailing around the mask. As if the paths were not linked together?

was that first bit sped up? or is that straight up how fast you work with paths? I've done a few, and I'm nowhere near that quick...

Thanks for the tutorial.. i know a very little of photoshop and found it quite useful.. have a question for you pls.. i got a retouch tool on iphoto for mac - which practically blurs/fades glitches into the colour or imagery of a selected area.. is there anything like it in photoshop? Cheers

Are you speeding up the video when you use the pen tool? Or are you just super good with it? Because you're just cruising with it.

wut i wuld suggest using for the reflection is the warp tool (just on the reflection though) and make it get larger as it goes from the feet to the head. it will seem more realistic... please take this into concideration and reply on this comment... THANKYOU!!
