I never had any warning ReVo and I have a view of a 265ft Monster from my kitchen, backyard deck and bedroom in Carbon Canyon. Ask Daddy to explain that to you and ME. BTW these poles aren't providing any energy to Chino Hills.
You have to see these towers to believe it- they loom over the city like no other power structures I've seen outside of the Ports or in a vacant area away from any neighborhoods. They cut a giant swatch through Chino Hills like a machete. When the lines go up, they'll obstruct the sky over the city because they're so high. It's amazing the State of California let this project get approved, but it's not too late- Governor Brown, please help Chino Hills prevent this disaster from happening.

These giant towering 500KV transmission lines do not belong in neighborhoods. Period. If something isn't done about these, the FIRST in the US to be built so close to homes, you will begin to see them in a neighborhood near you! It is the corruption between SCE and the CPUC that allowed this to happen. And how do you spell corruption?? It is M-I-C-H-A-E-L P-E-E-V-E-Y...who worked for Edison Electric and amazingly became head of the CPUC, the agency that approved this horrendous project.
My family are extremely upset with the 500KW Power Poles being erected rapidly in our city endangering our life and that of our kids. It not only affected the property value of our neighborhood, but also put the health of everyone on the line.Having these giant towers across Eucalyptus, our schools including Litel Elementary and Loving Savior will be seriously affected. We are talking about lives and health of little kids. Where are the hearts of the people who initiated/approved this project?
Strange thing is there are plenty of spaces for these poles to be put up in Chino Hills. It's a strange look when driving in the freeway.
