It doesn't matter whether the player who shoved with the flush draw had money invested what matters is if he has any fold equity. If tuff_fish is going to be folding his hand often enough in that spot then it's a profitable play to shove. However I don't think there is enough fold equity so just just folding was probably correct. it depends on the relative stack sizes, sometimes your getting the right implied odds to flat there but I can't see the stack sizes in theses vids, too blurry.
He had a flush draw and two over pair so was 55/45 favourite, plus when he pushes he's got fold equity, but tuff_fish with K 10 in that spot, what can he really beat except a bluff?
@friendlee2007 pot was over 800, only hand that dominates him is a higher flush draw, + the huge fold equity, was an idiot call for KT tbh, unless the player was playing very aggressive throughout, so yes, I would shove in that position. You obviously play very low stakes, high stakes are alot more aggressive.
@bonestorm2006 well yeah, more or less. but its essentially a 50/50 + that empire could be up against a hand like A/10 clubs or something. Man the games where jucicy back then. :D a 10/20 game back then is like a 1/2 game today
@friendlee2007 He had a flush draw and 6 over cards to the board to hit, so that gives him 15 outs, plus he has a runner runner for a straight too which is classed as another out - he's easily a favourite in this pot
Do you know what pot odds are? He didn't have any pot odds to do what he did, he straight out gambled like a moron and got lucky. Sure he had a lot of outs but if he's not in a tournament where the blinds are going up like crazy it's stupid to invest 2000$ on a draw. The best odds of winning is the hand that is already winning ang not chasing madness. To be honest though i would never go 2 thousands on a pair of 10 with a king kicker either, that's madness as well.
@9LC Do you know what pot odds are? When the flop is dealt, the villain is about a 55% chance to win the pot if the hand goes down to the river, end of story. Put the hands into a poker calculator if you don't believe me. Then you can come back to me and admit how wrong you are :)
@9LC u know why its a good play? lemme break it down to u, not only does he have a flush draw, but he also had 2 overs, means any Q or J make him a better hand as well. another reason is that he shoved all in himself, so there is a small chance tuff fish was bluffing and fold.
that guy played it really bad. He had no money invested and decides to push with a flush draw. Even if he thinks his two overs are live it doesn't justify pushing in that spot b/c he's got no money invested in the pot....
Tuff fish over played top pair again. Thats biggest mistake in poker is to try to take a pot down on the flop. Only amatures do that. THe guy had 2 over and a flush draw of course hes all in. Hes got 15 outs and on the turn has a 60 percent chance of winning. Yo uwant to shove in those situations.
wtf r u talking about it was basically a coin flip, the guy had 15 outs twice because he had 2 over cards aswell. a fucking idiot like you would go all in with the nut flush draw and draw to only 12 outs because tuff fish might have A10, so u wouldnt win if the ace hits
he had the best hand that other guy had no business going all in with a flush draw. wasn't even the nut flush draw. of course he might just be so rich he doesn't give a fuck
I feel really bad for this guy, i hope he wins alot and just put the bad beats on the video. he just lost bout $4000. if he playes alot i think he would know that partypoker often puts 3 pockets in the 1 hand just to increase the betting.
Poker is so fucking rigged online. Stupid motherfuckers. I will go and rape all of the fucking kids of the motherfucking producers.
