Es una versión estupenda y me encantó pero no sé si has oído al joven Domingo ? Con todo el respeto por Carreras que admiro mucho, la grabación de Plácido es incomparable en el más estricto sentido de la palabra. Se puede morir... es mi respuesta a este video.

No, I will not change my mind : I love Aragall (the best Don Carlo I've ever heard) too and heard him "in the house" (Pinkerton) but he's not the one who will make me less appreciate Carreras. José's glittering tone is unique and I even find it often more beautiful than his singing patron saint's : the great Pippo ! :)

Estupenda interpretación. Su voz todavía le permiter recursos estilíticos como filados y medias voces, al contrario que en interpretaciónes posteriores en las que la voz pierde flexibilidad y la interpretación se limita a "golpes de temperamento".

carreras agranda su voz, el precio de esto se paga con lo años, el siempre fue un tenor arriesgado que lleva al limite el arte. un verdadero jugador.

Es verdad, se jugaba su voz en cada presentación. Es uno de los más arriesgados, es casi la antitesis de Kraus. Siempre disfruto de sus presentaciones antes del 87, allí se empezó a notar su decaimiento drásticamente.

en su esplendor que ams se peude decir... no me explico porque perdio su voz.. muy aparte de la operación del 87 pero después de eso siguió con su hermnoza voz hasta el 93 ..
