now i fixed it...you have to connect the thing to the vm...if you go to the bottom right corner you see..like using file, hard disk, network adaptor..in those find your wireless network adaptor and right click and connect it

Found BSSID "00:27:19:D9:52:4E" to given ESSID "CBC_office".

mon0 is on channel -1, but the AP uses channel 6

So, Could u tell about my problem? I'm wrong something????

@Kimpheng100 Your wireless card is on the wrong channel so... do airmon-ng stop mon0 then do a 'airmon-ng start wlan0 6' that would re-create mon0 with the channel of 6, then you'll be all set

@vamos418 Intergrated chipsets on most laptops aren't compatible with any of the backtrack distros. You need to buy a USB one, I use the WG111v2 Netgear card. Works like a charm.

I am new to most of this forgive me that's why I am watching tutorials in the first place obviously but when I type in airmon-ng and hit enter it says (Interface Chipset Driver) but it does not list anything underneath it and I am stuck. Do I need to install a driver first or something for it to recognize? My Wifi adapter is a Linksys WUSB54G version 4 I would really appreciate a response thank you!
