  • I always have a case of the dropsies, some days worse than others....but irritating nonetheless...lol I have to cook and bake sitting down or I make some nasty messes.

  • i was going to suggest also using your counter top, its hard and one tap and it is cracked.. also i was told by my brother in law, that scooping out little pieces of shell with the 1/2 egg shell you have more area that can contaminate your baking.. just thought i'd pass that along..

  • @sallykein good point.

  • If more of us were out to lunch the world would be a better place :-)

  • You can "capture" the tiny shell piece by using one of the egg shell halves to scoop it out. For some reason the piece won't move away from it. :)

  • I never thought of that! It does work, doesn't it! Thank you!

  • You are absolutely right! Breakin the egg on the flat surface made NO broken bits! Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou!

  • Hey Nancy, Good to talk to you again. Crack egg on flat surface...Pour salt on a dropped egg and it acts the same way as cat litter...They both work as perfectly as you frozen cheese tip!

  • I'll have to try that! Which reminds me, I need to put salt on my frozen hide out there in the tipi too!
