  • its probably easier to use a kettlebell..i never saw some use the hip movement though..it thought your body should be parrell to the ground always and simply move back to a stretch and to the middle of the chest above is where the weight should be

  • First this is a main chest exercise,2nd this guy is doing this exercise incorrectly,Third-lowering the hips by these exercise you can just get a spine deformation and a injuri,besides all of these things that i wrote this guy looks like a prisoner!!!

    It can be a lat isolator if you execute it correctly. And dont be so a pussy about your spine. If you have a weak lower back, go deadlift more and make it strong.

  • Wow, he has superb form! I can see that it works, he's incredibly muscular.

    I remember reading in a body building magazine that a slight bend in the elbows will help prevent injuries.

  • use ez curl bars and keep your elbows locked in place to activate the lats most.

  • Works ya ribcage alot.

  • Best example, pure late activation. Notice how this guy does not bend his arm and start the concentric contraction with his triceps, doing this would be cheating because you are flicking straight past most of the lat activation this would be bad unless you are trying to do partials or negatives which is not the safest thing to do on this exercise and would not be recomended to biggeners.

    Best demo I have seam yet.

  • @T4tsunami Bent arm works better for me cuz you don't have to be flexing your triceps the whole time you are doing the exercise and my lats give out before my triceps with bent arms, vice versa with straight arm, you just have to bring the dumbbell further down to get a good stretch for the lats
