I don't understand how this is scary. This was a perfectly normal takeoff. As to takeoff abortion, that is usually done way before the plane ever reaches V1...the point where the plane has to lift off no more what.

@northwestwezzie1 What's with the FACT have u been on one? All is I know there is only a tail cam at least on Qantas and pretty sure that is only cam you will find on any A380 maybe on other airlines but i doubt it. Trust me I had 23 hours on one from Aust to London I would have found one if it ever existed. So FACT boy think you better check your facts.

I doesnt need more runway than other airliners, it uses less runway actually because of the low TO speed, effcient brakes and reverse thrust..

So yes, it would be one hell of a sight, but not more dangerous or risky than other modern airliners.

@northweezie1: FACT there are several cameras on the a380 that you can veiw on take off and landing. like the gear cam, tail cam and i think theres a engine cam.
