I like the idea of your cover but you lose the ironic and cynically melancholic undertones of utada's arrangement and vocal so now it just sound sugar sweet. Sorry but I think you need to sound sadder and pump up the energy of the music because utada did that for a reason. Otherwise the song doesn't make sense.
